Keep looking.
After the damage is done they found wet MD.
I went to them three times, last year only to be told I needed a different prescription glasses.
When the Doctor there said I have wet MD immediately
Referring me to the Eye center who immediately started injections.
The doctor treating me now said the damage is already done from wet MD that has been going on a while. Scaring is already done.
So sad that I have to live with vision loss because it was missed
In my earlier visits.
I was so counting on these professionals to keep an eye on me after watching my mother lose her sight. Boy was I let down.
Is this place trying to scam their patients?
They will prescribe non generic brands of medications.
And then try to make you pay multiple times for a service.
I absolutely do not recommend this people. Stay tuned for more.
I have me go through the entire process of going through a health insurance app where this company is listed go through the process of listing out my health records text me an appointment reminder, arrive at the office to find out that you no longer accept my insurance. Why not have the person who does the scheduling confirm the insurance information when it was given at the time the appointment was made? There's no way for me to recover that lost time, resources.
I think I left a review before on how late the appointments run. Well, nothing new there. Expect at least 2+ hours for regular visits. My Dr is exceptional and that is the only reason I keep on as a patient. The latest comedy is billing. Mail is a horrible way to reach me for billing. I got turned in to collections for an overdue balance, small, but overdue. With no intention of short changing my Dr, I immediately paid collections and contacted billing looking for options. Email billing? No. Keep credit card on file? No. So, I asked greeter at my next appointment. Not only did greeter not know of any options, seemed entirely unenthusiastic about helping. Handed me a patient portal card which I scanned and accessed the website in the waiting room. I never had an ID and password, but there was no option to create one either. So I asked the greeter, and was given an IT helpdesk phone number. At that point I asked is there anyone who cares about getting paid here? Suprisingly she said it doesn't seem so. I asked do the Drs own the practice, thinking I might inform them? Not anymore, she replied. So I guess I'll pay my co pays via collections. Unreal how a business survives when it doesn't care enough to make it easy to get paid.
I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit with Dr. Burns. The entire eye exam--including refraction, pressure checks, and vision testing--was conducted entirely by an assistant. When the ophthalmologist finally came in, they spent less than two minutes with me, did not examine my eyes directly, and did not verify any of the results provided by the assistant.
It felt rushed and impersonal, and I left with serious doubts about the accuracy and quality of my care. I expect a medical professional, especially a specialist, to take the time to assess a patient personally and thoroughly. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
This exact same thing happened on my wife's appointment as well.
Dr Sun and all the other nurses and assistants are great. It's the scheduling/management that is the problem. We were supposed to have my father's surgery scheduled in January but it took until April for it to happen. After playing phone tag and wasting my time. Recently we came in for a follow up after his surgery. We spent 1.5 hrs just waiting. That's ridiculous especially for a follow up. No explanation or apology was given. They don't respect or value peoples time.
While I am very satisfied with the care I have received, my last 2 attempts to see Dr. McHale have gone poorly.
My wife and I had appointments in December. Our appointments were 15 minutes apart. After a 15 minute wait, Anne went back. An hour later someone came to get me. Since Anne was almost done, I decided to reschedule.
When I arrived today, I was told there would be a "Little bit of a wait." Since I had already rescheduled once, I decided to wait. The "Little bit of a wait " turned into One hour and 15 minutes without anyone giving me any kind of updates.
By then there was only one person at the desk. While I understand she was trying to do her job and I was understandably upset, she offered no apologies and implied that I should have somehow known that I would have such a long wait.
Since coming to these appointments requires me to take time from work and I have other appointments, I said I would call later to reschedule.
We've taken our kids there for years with consistently great service. We highly recommend it to anyone!!!
