The quality of service from this team is excellent. I specifically want to thank Dr. Hitchens, who is nothing short of amazing. I had an issue that required immediate attention, which she made room to see me. She fixed me up and was willing to come in on a Saturday when she was not scheduled to work for a follow to make sure my eye was healing correctly. This kind of dedication and caring is rare and I cannot thank Dr. Hitchens and the Muirfield Eye Care team enough!

I've been seeing Dr. Fanning for over 15 years, and he's truly one of the best eye doctors you'll ever visit. He's patient, explains everything clearly, and is always willing to let you try different options to ensure you're seeing your best. The administrative staff is also fantastic--pleasant to work with and great at helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Highly recommend!

I love Dr. Fanning. Great doctor and really helpful and makes you feel at home there. Gave me great advice on my prescription. Only complaint is that there were limited frame options when I was there.

Muirfield Eye Care Center is truly wonderful. They saved the day for us, twice! My daughter had an urgent eye problem the day after she got home from college, and we were leaving for vacation the next day. They squeezed her in, and gave her a prescription for eye drops for her issue. Unfortunately, the drops got lost soon after we got home, and Dr. Fanning answered our urgent call and got us another prescription, just in time. The kindness from every single person we worked with was unparalleled, and I am a fan for life!

Called to make an appointment for contacts so they scheduled an exam. The place was completely desolate when I arrived. No questions were asked if I was interested in glasses or contacts. So I met the doctor and he performed the exam. No issues at all. When the exam was over, I ask the receptionist if I owe anything and now that I have my prescription how do I go about ordering contacts. She advised I needed ANOTHER EXAM!!!! One for contacts!! And get this after months went by, I get a bill for the exam. I have the best vision insurance and I'm in their network. How isn't a normal exam covered 100%? How nice of incompetence to waste my time. I'm thinking this could have been avoided if they hired a competent receptionist and one that doesn't seem like she hates her life and everyone that interacts with her. Don't waste your time.
