I felt like I was at the BMV. Patient's names were being broadcasted across the waiting area. The lack of personality was overwhelming, with the exception of the technician who administered my initial testing. I don't remember her name, but she was the only one who showed any empathy. The exam was uncomfortable & impersonal. Very little was explained to me. I was not told that I should have a driver & not a single employee asked if I was OK to drive. I definitely was not. Lastly, I was deposited at the next station (unable to see clearly) to schedule an appointment for surgery. I needed a fresh tissue. The box was empty, so I attempted to hand it to the overweight young man behind the counter. He reached over his monitor; dropped the empty box in front of me & said to leave it where it was. I never got the tissue. I also had a date thrown at me, which I have no intention of keeping. I would rather live with my cataracts than subject my eyes to your care. I am disappointed in LensCrafters for the recommendation.

Everything went very well. Each staff member, as well as Dr. Derek, were very prompt and very thorough. Would have given 5 stars but my next appointment to start the surgery process isn't for almost two months.

I have been seeing Dr Derick for a few years, recommended by a neighbor, have glacoma. Excellent care. More recent, had cataract surgery in both eyes, went great. I continue to see him every 6 months. Columbus Ophthalmology, I highly recommend.

I highly recommend this group. The staff and doctor were excellent in their patient care. No waiting. They stayed on schedule and met every need.

I think he is a good Doctor not so friendly but that is not important. The their receptionists though was impatient and almost disrespectful .
