I absolutely love my doctor, both that I've had here, however I am not a fan of the mere harassment that you are given when you don't come in exactly one year from your last appointment. Phone calls, texts, voicemails - you name it! At least once a week! I've never had a place harass me so bad to come back in for an appointment like I have here. Again, love my doctor; he's the only reason I keep going here, but that harassment needs to stop!

This review is for my mother Susan McElroy she came to get new glasses in October 2025 and then had issues with the prescription and was told when she came back in that it was okay . She tried them for 2 months and started on chemotherapy and could not get back in so In December she finished and I called to see If i could bring her back in to get lenses checked again and they said that she would have to start all over again.She is 81 years old and has been fighting breast cancer this year and i found this to be appalling i then took her to my eye doctor office Premier Vision and they were happy to help us but and she got the correct presciption and can now see. This in total cost her $427 with your place and another $400 with the new place . I am asking if she can at all get any refund for at least the lenses that were of course very expensive. Please make this right with her she has had no glasses for 3 to 4 months due to also cataract surgery and she waited it out to come to your place and finally get new glasses and was told that they did it correct when in fact the new script is totally different from yours and can see now unlike your lenses she could not . Make this a good New Year and make it right please. Thank you

This place is amazing. My 3 kids and I all had appointments today starting at 9am but all came in at the same time, so we could have overwhelmed quick. The ones that checked us in were so nice, friendly and helpful and had a very efficient assembly line type to do our paperwork and we were checked in quickly. The rest of the staff was also very friendly, professional and made what could have been a hectic day fun and not stressful at all. The payments were exactly what I was thinking with our insurance so no surprises there and all of us were able to get new glasses for our new prescriptions without going over budget. They were very patient with all of us when picking out glasses and everything really. We left around 11am so getting all 4 of us taken care of in around 2 hours was amazing also. I was expecting it to be much longer since there was so many of us together but they did great and will always be coming back to them. Thank you all for your help today!

Im not one to get offended easily. My youngest son is deaf and has autism. It makes for a mix of craziness sometimes. So if I got offended easily, I'd live a miserably sad life. BUT what happened at this office was unacceptable. My youngest son (10yrs old 100% deaf and has autism) started in a sneezing spurt. The ladies were kind and got him tissues and all seemed well. Until my son made snorting/strange/not pleasant sounds trying to clear his throat/nose. Again, he's DEAF so he has NO idea he's being loud. I tried quieting him down, but if you've ever worked with a child that's autistic you know, it isn't the easiest. He does not understand he's making wierd noises and they are inappropriate. He has no idea he's even making noise and people can hear him! Never did he act up or get ridiculous other than making noise to clear his throat. But was NEVER horrible behavior wise. I let him play on my phone to keep him calm and not causing issues. The optician with the short blue hair at the desk in the middle of the area you pick & get fitted for glasses felt the need to announce that she was disgusted and walk out in the most dramatic way. Other opticians giggled and let me know she was germaphobe. I again reminded all of them that he is deaf and has NO idea he's making noise let alone that he's being so loud and on top of that he's autistic. The lady came back out, my son made more noise and she was yet again dramatic and said "THIS IS RIDICULOUS, I CAN'T DO THIS" and stormed out again. This time, everyone in the office was looking. Every optician, every patient, even the people & ladies working the check in desk. How unprofessional? I understand it's not pleasant when a special needs child is doing something that isn't normal but to be so RUDE about it and make such a scene was inappropriate. While I will say, the optician who worked with us was kind, understanding and was the only reason we didn't leave right then and there, I wish we would have left in that moment. I am very understanding that not everyone understands social needs children/adults. I feel like I extend grace beyond what I probably should. But this was down right awful. This woman should be reprimanded for the inconsiderate, unprofessional behavior she displayed. If you have a special needs child, I would NOT recommend this place.

The entire staff was kind and welcoming! Dr. Do was very informative and kind, very helpful. Highly recommend!!

Ordered a pair of glasses three weeks ago. Got a call today saying I'd have to pick another pair. As I was on the phone I was put on "hold", I got sent to voicemail. The order has been cancelled and I will go elsewhere

Absolutely love the staff and Dr.Bureau. Will return and maintain my vision through Shawnee Optical with Dr.Bureau. Kid and anxiety friendly.
