People are very friendly - doctors are good . I had no problem. Up to date equipment. They showed me all the pictures of my eyes from the computer generated pictures. Explained everything thoroughly. Helped me pick out frames that fit my face. This is the first time i have had my eyes checked in awhile and i was glad they didn't use drops as I had to drive myself - I am happy with them!

Pleasant Valley and Ridge in Parma, Doctors of Optometry, Inc. provides first-class eye care to its patients throughout the Cleveland area and its surrounding suburbs. On a recommendation of a friend, I started going to Doctors of Optometry about four or five years ago. Dr. Paul M. Dowd always takes the time to not only examine my eyes, of course, but to also discuss with me any changes to my Rx, what corrective actions he plans on taking and why. He loves his profession, and he really wants his patients to understand his approach to eye care. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. For a doctor's office, Doctors of Optometry is one of the more comfortable offices you will find. A smile can go a long way, and I have always been greeted with a friendly one at that on each and every visit. I am so glad that my friend recommended Doctors of Optometry. Your vision is important, and finding the right eye doctor can be challenging. If you are new to the area, or perhaps just looking for a change, I would certainly recommend that you try Doctors of Optometry.

I have been with Dr. Dowd for many years due to his knowledge and professionalism. He is also a very nice guy. I will continue to use their services as long as they are in business. I would recommend anyone who is looking for an optometrist to check out Dr. Dowd and his associates.

Dr. Dowd is a wonderful, kind, caring eye doctor. He gives you a very thorough exam that he explains to you and you understand. He takes his time with you. His staff are also very helpful, patient, kind and caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Dowd, Doctors of Optometry.

I went to the Doctors of Optometry for an eye exam. I was told they had a machine that is better than drops to examine your eyes. They charge $40 more to use this machine too. They said my eyes were healthy. This did not make sense to me. After the exam I went to the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute for a second opinion. They used drops to examine me and discovered I had a very serious eye condition and if not treated I would have lost my eyesight. The Doctor at the Cole Eye Institute said the only way to have found this condition is using drops and that is why they always use drops. I the went to Retina Associates of Cleveland which are nationally known Eye Doctors for a third opinion. They confirmed the Cole Eye Institute results. They also said the only way to examine the eyes properly is using drops. Doctors of Optometry are playing a CON GAME. They charge more for something that is not as good. If you value your eyesight DO NOT GO THERE. They should be called DOCTORS of CON.

I went with my husband to his appt. While waiting I looked at frames and was going to order a new pair, but then I found out I hadn't had an exam for 2 years. They were able to work me in so that I was able to have my exam and order a new pair of glasses!

The doctors are exceptional, and the office team is fantastic!! They are prompt, courteous, knowledgable, and caring. They have my highest recommendation in every aspect of their practice!

Best doctors and staff. Helpful and take their time to make sure you understand everything. Very caring! I once tried another place and it was horrible experience. So I have recommended both Doctors to family and friends. They care!
