Retina Specialists of Ohio: Donald C. Stephens, MD

I think Dr Stephens is the best. He has helped me for many years and we have a great friendship I hope he gets the Office back in Avon.

I have always had a very good experience on all my visits to Retina Specialists. I am very glad to have Dr Stephens as my Opthalmologist. All of the office staff and technicians have been very accommodating.

As usual, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional in performing my preliminary screening and testing prior to me being seen by Dr. Stephens. Dr. Stephens was kind and thorough in his examination and in providing me with his evaluation of my concerns. He put my mind at ease and offered an effective care plan going forward for my diabetic retinal issues.

The staff & Dr Stephens were all professional.

Doctor was great but the wait was just too long. Dilated and waited for 90 minutes for Dr. to look at my eyes for 5 minutes, while everyone else was going in and out. Meanwhile I was lucky enough to fall off the broken bench in the hallway while waiting. Next time I'll go back to Avon location.

Dr Stephens does a fantastic job. He has performed laser procedures on my eyes 3 times with great success.

Have to listen to long unprofessional loud conversations amongst the employees at the desk while waiting for your elderly loved one. By 2:30 p.m. they're already trying to force you out of office when you're scheduling your next appointment at the desk and your elderly loved one can barely see they're shutting off the lights in the office where you're at. All the employees care about is getting out of there as early as possible. The doctor left too while loved one is telling me he wants to talk to me about something. No he bolted. Earlier, when I went into a room to help my elderly loved one I was left to get her out of the awkward medical chair safely. Staff really do the bare minimum there.

Dr. Stephens did a great job of putting me at ease before surgery due to his confidence and ability to explain the correction needed and risk involved. I intend to continue seeing him for care as needed. Very satisfied.
