I've been going to to see Dr. Anderson for 14 years now, and I have never had one complaint. The service is great and friendly and the office and staff have a family feel to it and make you feel apart of that family. As well Dr. Anderson is the best eye Dr. I have ever been to; he never misses a thing and can even fit my glasses just by looking at them....... if you want quality and friendly and speedy service this is the place to be !!!

****SECOND UPDATE: So I had another encounter with the first receptionist I dealt with. She had originally called me to try to get me to change this review. So now o think she wants revenge because I didn't change it. I went in there Saturday because my contact was stuck in my eye. She asked for my insurance card because she seems to think she has to enter it in every time. Then she told me my insurance is inactive (which was a lie, I have confirmed my insurance is active and I have more coverage for the year). Then she told me it would be over $100 for them to get the contact out. I don't know how they stay in business with this rude, unprofessional, vengeful secretary, but I will NEVER BE BACK! ***UPDATE: I went back in for my follow up appointment and it was actually so wonderful that I decided to come back and change my review of this place. There was a different eye doctor and a different receptionist this time. They were both kind, patient, and willing to answer any questions I had. The lady filling in for reception, Debbie, was so kind and helpful, and I wish I had grabbed the doctor's name (last name started with a G) but she was also very nice and gave me a lot of great information that I didn't know I needed. I just wanted to thank them for helping me feel more comfortable with my choice. I'm going to assume my prior experience was a fluke considering that this place has wonderful reviews, so I have changed the rating here. PRIOR COMMENT: First of all, the lady at the front desk is very condescending and she needs to adjust her attitude. Second of all, I got charged the most ridiculously erroneous fee... an $80 fee for them to "fit" my contact lenses and tell me how to put them in. Apparently that's not included in the cost of the eye exam? I would be a lot more understanding of this fee if they had mentioned it beforehand, but they just surprised me at the end with it. Then the rude lady at the front counter rolled her eyes and laughed when I asked if in the future (now that my information is in the system and established) if they will be able to let me know about costs ahead of time. She snarkily replied "no! We don't just keep you information in the system". I clarified... "so I will never know what you are going to charge me until you give me the bill at the end?", and she rolled her eyes and didn't reply. Honestly, I'm contemplating not even going to my follow up appointment and you can be sure that I am going to call my insurance about this fee that wasn't covered. That's no way to do business, and that lady needs a job where she doesn't deal with the with the public.

My family goes in annually for our eye exams, and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. There is a little play area my kids can play with books and toys while they wait their turn. Will be back soon!

So my son has nystagmus and Onh which requires glasses he was 7 months when we went. First off the opthomolagist didn't show up to my scheduled appointment. The front desk asked if I could walk around and wait. I said no. She ended up taking the measurements and helped me pick out frames that do not fit and never have. Then webgwt the glasses they ordered purple instead of black. Had to go back and still didn't get a smaller head strap. Then I ordered a new strap she never called me to pick up and I ordered special sun glasses for him and never heard anything back. Fast forward to 17 months and he won't wear them went to Dr. Bock he put drops in to make him not see for a week only to find out that the glasses are so wrong for him. I'm so upset and I would never ever return or recommend anyone go there. They have no business being open. How can you just not show up to an appointment and let your assistant take wrong measurements. I remember saying they don't look like they fit after my friend who is an eye doctor said Katie those are not right at all. She told me it is what it is because you can fit babies. Wrong!! Don't go there.

Advantage Optical is great. Dr. LaDouceur is willing to hear what you need and assess your eye health critically. Mckenzie was extremely helpful in working with insurance and filling my prescription. I felt well cared for here. Will be back in a year for my next eye exam. Thank you!

My family and I recently learned that my daughter needed glasses. Everyone who works there is absolutely amazing! I was nervous but everyone was so accommodating, patient, and understanding. I absolutely won't go anywhere else! Thank you to everyone I met down there!

I have been taking my kids here for at least the past 4 years and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Dr. LaDouceur is extremely patient with my daughter who has special needs and isn't always cooperative. I recommend everyone to go here they listen to your concerns and truly care about their patients.

My fiancee lost a contact and they graciously provided a loaner pair free of charge. The quality of service and attentiveness is unmatched in the area. Do yourself a favor and go here for your optical needs.
