I was having issues with finding a place that had quality lenses! I spoke with my ophthalmologist about the difficulties of finding decent lenses in our area. He shared with me this excellent place that he takes his family. That's when I experienced Civil Eyes'd Optical in Carlisle, PA. I must say at first, I was a little skeptical about this place as I've never been there before and it was about an 1 hour 15 minutes drive from where I live ... I just remember arriving to this small, amazing business with an amazing atmosphere with top of the line eyeglasses and lenses. The owner of the shop was named Mark and his trusty assistant Michelle are some of the most helpful and friendliest people you will ever meet! The greeting was like no other greeting I've ever experienced! It felt like we were walking into eyeglass heaven - At least that's how they made us feel! Any questions that we had they were willing to help answer. I Don't normally give good compliments out unless you earn them! Let me tell you they have truly earned it! Our experience was absolutely fantastic they helped us with anything that we needed! If you're looking for good, quality glasses and lenses you should definitely give them a try! They are definitely worth your time and travel.... They are truly amazing small business in the eyeglass field! Thank you Mark and Michelle for all that you have done for our family! I highly recommend civil eyes'd. Better than your basic eye glass shop! Here is how this place compares to the basic eye glass shop. I left a basic chain eye glass business frustrated with the limited stock on small frames. I was overwhelmed. I didn't like how I looked and had about only two pairs to choose from that fit my narrow face. Later that day my boyfriend spotted a shop in Carlisle as we passed by. I went in to find a whole wall of beautiful and stylish frames. Not only that, they also had a lovely selection of glasses that fit me! The staff there was more than helpful. They helped me find the look I wanted by making suggestions and looking for frames for me. Not only did I no longer feel overwhelmed but, it was fun! Civil Eyes'd This is a great place to find stylish glasses.

Mark's service was excellent. He is very good at selecting the right frames for you. When I picked up my glasses and wore them for a couple of days, it was clear that the prescription was off. I went back, and Mark helped me to confirm this was the case. I got a new prescription and had my updated glasses in under a week. Best experience I've had in getting new glasses in years.

Mark and Michelle make a great team providing great service. My wife and I each bought several glasses and sunglasses from them and are super happy with the results. I'll be going back to them for any future purchases.
