The only reason I go to this one is the Dr. the rest of the staff really are not customer service oriented. The selection is slim, the timings of the appointment is not held to any close to the time, I bring my whole family here, but if this Dr goes anywhere else, we're (all 5) are out. Please fix your customer service, you're making $200-400/ client per visit, you're not selling a cheap thing. Give us some respect, we're the paying client.
First of all, I rarely go out of my way to leave reviews, but I had to for Holly at the front desk. Her customer service skills were exceptional: considerate, compassionate, passionate, and incredibly helpful.
From the moment I called to schedule an appointment (without even having my insurance information ready), to the time she followed up with me, to when I came in for my appointment and later returned to pick up my glasses, Holly was consistently respectful and professional.
She truly cares about making sure every client is treated right, and it shows in everything she does. People like her make the whole experience so much better!
Overpriced, rude staff in some locations, unprofessional, don't return calls, I had to have three doctors in one office on Whitehall give me the same exam with two different scripts out of the three. Ended up returning two pairs of very expensive frames and gave them another chance eight years later. Nothing's changed. The first time I had to keep going into the store to get my glasses looked at over and over again because I was not able to see good through them. This second time I go to a different store and I had to bring the Glass is back three times to have them adjusted as well. Not to mention the lenses look like coke bottles. I had almost the exact script from two years ago w/lenses from Americas Best. They do not look thick. They look exactly how they're supposed to look when you pay for every single add on to your lenses when you have a thick script and Progressive. I ALWAYS pay a lot of money to make sure they're as thin looking as possible. My Eye Doctor made me look like I was walking around in the 1920s with Coke bottles on my face!! I Will never give them my business again! One of the best eye doctor and lenses so far has been Americas Best and Walmart..(surprising I know. But... It's not a Walmart brand. It's a separate optical company). I'm not exaggerating as I'm real picky about my eye care. The only thing is neither places carry the type of frames I like because I'm a frame snob. But the doctor, most of the staff are professional and the lenses are awesome. Not to even mention the prices are so affordable, especially in this economy.
My eye care specialist, Madison, was extremely professional and helpful every time I come into to center. Her customer service skills are exceptional and it is obvious that she truly cares about what she does.
Have been coming here for 2 years. They now charge $3 for a TINY bottle refill for cleaning your glasses. It's been free for years if you bring in your old one. Well for $3 I will move it the other other eye dr in tega cay
The place is exceptionally good. I have been going here for almost 6 years now. Dr.Evans is so polite and treats the patient with atmost care. On a saturday, I went to get my second pair of glasses, the front desk staff Kisha was really great in helping me finding the right frame, make sure it fits and took care all the paper work at closing time on saturday which I felt is more than 100% customer satisfaction. Love the store
The staff was nice and the doctor was professional. I guess I didn't click all the right buttons when I set up the appointment online, so I was surprised when I showed up and they didn't show me in the system - obviously a mistake I made, and she said it happens all the time. I was kind of surprised the system isn't smart enough to catch those - that's the entire reason I chose this place was the online scheduling made it "easier", but other online systems like Amazon will be quick to tell you "you've still got items in your cart" or "Did you forget to checkout". Not a huge deal obviously, but it's reflective of the poorly thought-out customer experience overall. They still saw me pretty quick which was great, and they discovered I had eye insurance (unbeknownst to me), which sounded great initially. I picked out 3 frames before my exam and after the exam was ready to purchase all three with cash... It wasn't allowed? One pair she told me I couldn't buy because they only deal with certain insurance and wouldn't let me just use cash. The second pair (Oakleys, locked up in a case so I couldn't try them on) also didn't like the insurance I didn't know I had an hour prior and reduced the displayed 50% off (and anytime you see a discount that big you know the margins must be HUGE) to just 20% off.
The entire experience felt like they were trying to talk me out of being their customer, so I told her I'd just buy online. She reminded me I saved $99 due to the insurance...which then prevented me from spending $1k+ on glasses, so thanks, I guess. Online I discovered the PD # was missing from the prescription they provided despite all the fancy measurements and tests they did, so I did that myself and found much better deals online on the same glasses. Overall, I won't be back. The people were nice and professional, but the business overall clearly didn't want me as a customer.
This office was amazing. I originally was at rock hill office, but when I went in because of an eye glass issue they stayed nothing could be done. Fort mill office fixed the problem went above and beyond. Customer service is amazing wonderful. If you need a good , trustworthy eye doctor, this the one!!!!!
