Dugan Eye Institute

There are two areas that are considered the front office. The front office where patients check in. And the patient check out office. A conversation between 3 employees at the check out office was loud enough to hear. The conversation among the employees was about a peer who had been rude. I brought it up to the office manager. I had left and right cataract surgery since that incident. The surgeries were successful. My surgeries and follow up visits regarding the physicians was exceptional. The employees in both offices seemed much more pleasant. My review was based on the physicians experience and how I was treated as a patient.

My father wasn't given protective eye wear after having his eyes dilated and having to drive 30 minutes home. I completely understand that he should have asked, being they did not but I believe this is so unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm unsure if race was a factor, being that he indicated the receptionist was caucasian and offered protective eye wear to the caucasian patient before him. These receptionists are uneducated on proper patient care and need to be properly trained.

We were robbed!!! Absolutely terrible experience. We went to first visit and arrived 10 minutes early. Waited over an hour to get exam and then another 30 minutes to see doctor and then another 30 minutes for doctor to reevaluate contacts just to be told to come back in a week for another evaluation of contact fit. Okay. Return for appointment, wait hour to get in, charged $105 because insurance doesn't cover return visit. Then we are told that because her eyes are burning today they won't give us contact back or prescription or money back.

With my wife having only one of her two eyes since her illness over ten (10) years ago, both my wife and myself were nervous and quite frankly scared out of our ever loving mind when we noticed her vision dimming at an unprecedented rate of speed. Within a single month it appeared that my wife's vision had went from blurry and a tad distorted at 10 feet to just a bright white light at less than a single foot. Dr. Dugan took one look and told her (Charlene), she has Cataracts and she would need emergency surgery the next morning if we had any hope of her being able to regain any it part of her sight. Charlene, my loving, precious wife whom I would do anything for would be totally blind within a couple of weeks if she opted out of the surgical procedure. With a shaky foot forward at-best,, my wife, Charlene, spoke up and said, "let's do this thing". Dr. Dugan's staff was caring, knowledgable and supportive pertaining to my wife's needs, while Dr. Dugan assured her that there was over a 98% success rate as the proceedure in this day and age. Well friends, a week later And now two (2)follow-up appointments down and my baby can trulybsee. She says it is better than she can ever remember. Thank you Dr. Dugan and staff for caring for the most precious woman in the world. If I found award you and your facility one-hundred(100) stars verses five (5) stars I would withoutba second thought. Dr. Dugan, you are amazing, better yet, you have made a believe out of me and instilled confidence back into our medical field.... Something most needed!

this has been a great experience for both my husband and myself. you could not ask for a friendlier office staff. Dr.Dugan is great. He is friendly and professional at the same time. We did not meet anyone that wasn't the best. Well run office.

Horrible. Dr Dugan was suppose to correct my fathers eye but made is worse. He took out a critical piece of his eye. Now my father needs to wear sunglasses everywhere, making work extremely difficult. Now they will not release his medical records to him. My father had to see another eye doctor that told him his eye surgery was botched.

Staff was friendly and efficient. But most impressive was Dr. Dugan's attitude toward all his patients. From my waiting room I could hear him speaking respectfully to everyone he met with.

Made three phone calls to reorder contact lenses. On my third try, I thought I would actually speak to a person but instead I got transferred to Voicemail. Very disappointed with poor customer service and no apology when I told the receptionist that this was my third try. No attempt made to help me speak with someone directly.
