Jerry Hunsaker MD FAAO

Dr. Hunsaker provided a very thorough eye exam on my 84 year old mother who has dementia. Additionally, his staff was extremely helpful today during our visit, particularly Robert and team, taking exceptional care of my mother who cannot walk or support her own weight. Dr. Hunsaker was also very patient, kind and respectful to my mother during his exam which I appreciated. Thank you Dr. Hunsaker and staff! Great job today! We appreciate you!

Amazing doctor! He is highly skilled and efficient in his work, though it would be helpful if he could take a bit more time to explain things thoroughly. Nonetheless, his expertise and level of care are exceptional, and he's a great (and board-certified) professional. However, I must mention that the front office staff needs improvement. Each member has their own attitude, which creates an unpleasant experience. The referral department, receptionist, and office manager are part of this issue. It's unclear if they are underpaid or fatigued, but it seems like both factors might be contributing. While they may appear underqualified, I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt. Nonetheless, once you move past the frosty exterior of the front office staff, you'll uncover a treasure trove of warmth and care from the assistants and employees who directly interact with the doctor. It's like a hidden oasis of compassion, where the team diligently tends to patient exams and diagnoses. While the outer layer may need some polish, the heart of the care team shines brightly with genuine kindness and dedication.

Dr. Hunsaker is a great Doctor, office staff are inconsiderate and rude. One heavy set lady practically yelled at me, like she was bother to even ask her a question. And demanded the copay before she could answer my question.

Dr. Hunsaker is a great doctor and a great man, always enthusiastic about his work and genuinely cares about his patients. His staff has always been helpful and courteous to both wife and I. I highly recommend him for your eye care.

Never expected a follow up appt after cataract procedure to be 3 hours!!!. Wow! He is a good doctor but poor office/appt management. Obviously need a larger waiting room!

Never got an opportunity to see him. The receptionist was extremely curt and rude. I told her I needed a later appointment due to work restraints and she.was inflexible and told me well do you want the appointment or not. Oh well we both lose .

Office staff needs customer service training. Called to ask a simple question and was told "we are too busy right now."
