Pena Janet OD

Dr. Pena is a terrific eye doctor and very knowledgeable!!!! She has excellent staff as well. Ester is one of my favorite of course. She is always so sweet and kind. I definitely recommend Dr.Pena.

I have a complaint to Dr. Pena about her receptionist today 1/18/2010 my husband and I had appointment @ 11:15 & 11:45 as I arrived to let the receptionist know we were running a few minutes late she gave me no eye contact she said to take a seat then I told her I haven't filled out paper work she said take a sit, them my husband went to the counter and she told him to take a seat too. So we waited she came with the clip board & paper work as we were filling it out I told my daughter to charge phone and she said no devices can be charged so we didn't then she saw I had a water she told me no food or drinks are allowed I told her i had a water then she told me well its fluid is it so my husband took ouside, them my daughter called me and wanted to talk with husband then she walked up too me and said no cell allowed, tablets, cuz I had a tablet but wasn't on it, but my son was on his tablet watching a kid movie and she said we were being inappropriate but yet there TV was on it was loud that I couldn't hear myself and they had scent that smelled so bad it made your throat itch, so I said that thus dam Tv was loud what difference didn't it make she said I don't have to put with you, you can reschueld your appointment I keept on filling out my paper work cuz I didn't have nothing to say to her so then she said ok I'm cancelling your appointment for today and she took the clip board out of my hand and she said you can leave now! I went back for my paper work since we were not going to be seen and she gave it back to me with altitude and then she open the door like get out !! Never I had ever experience this at a Dr office in front of my husband and my two children NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER STEP FOOT INTO THIS OFFICE AGAIN. we were already patience with Dr. Pena and I was there two weeks ago and my daughter in and no problems and I was on my tablet and my cell phone and I had a water with me as well no one said anything to me. It's really said how one person call ruin your business and with that attitude towards other people Dr. Pena will con't to loose more patience. Dr.Pena I hope you choose your employees wisely with respect and dignity.

It's kind of hard to get a hold of the office because they don't really answer their phones, I tried to use the texting service to speed up the process, but I didn't get a response there either. The optometrist is nice but gave me a prescription that a lot stronger than the one I got last year, and when I asked her about the big change she just said that's what it is now without rechecking. Overall it was an okay experience.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Truly went out of their way to squeeze me in same-day. Dr. was professional and thorough. Overall, great and pleasant experience.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE!!! IT IS SOOO SAD THAT THEY DON'T KNOW THE MEANING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I HAD TO HAVE 2- EYE EXAMS AND DR. PENA STILL COULDN'T/DIDN'T GET MY PRESCRIPTION RIGHT!! SHE THEN REFUSED TO GIVE ME A CORRECTED PRESCRIPTION!! I ASKED FOR A REFUND, AND SHE REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY AS WELL!!! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DON'T GO HERE!! IT WAS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED FROM A SO CALLED DOCTOR!!!!!!! I wouldn't even give them one star, except it won't let me post this without at least giving them one star...Which they'd so do not Deserve!!

Dr. Pena was very friendly and professional as were the rest of the office staff. Would highly recommend this practice.

I gave 1 star because you can't rate it 0. The receptionist was rude and very unprofessional. Would not recommend anyone going there and I will never go there again.

Mrs Pena is an awesome optometrist she take the time to explain everything to you and she takes the time to answer all your questions!
