DOCTOR AVILA IS A FANTASTIC EYE SPECIALIST!!! IT'S NICE AND CLEAN. THE PEOPLE ARE ALL VERY POLITE TOO.

Kind! Professional! Wonderful People! I usually see Dr Avalia, but today I had an emergency! I had been trying to get my contact out for about a week. I wasn't even sure if it was in there. I did a pop in.... No appointment.... The waiting room was packed! I told them my situation and I figured they would just blow me off... but NO! They were so kind, and attentive to my needs. No attitude except concern. I know it sounds silly but, I really felt loved! They worked me in, rather quickly and decided that it wasn't even in my eye! Must have come out while I was sleeping??? Anyway, I just had to brag on the office staff and the nursing staff! The Dr. is wonderful too.

Couldn't be more pleased!!! I've been a patient of Dr Dietz for 6/7yrs now! Very personable, patient and knowledgeable! I do have cataracts but apparently only at the door of needed Surgery...Dr Dietz telling me every time I see him, I will be the one to let him know due to my eyesight. "It is time now for surgery". I value/appreciate the honesty!! Wanting to add... of all the staff, I've interacted with over the yrs, today on my visit, Kimberly raised the bar for all future visits!!! Very well mannered and personable l!!! Kudos Kimberly!

I didn't have any prior experiences with eye care..so C C Eye Consultants has been ok with me...but I do find Dr. G. arrogant and condescending...Well Dr. G. IS gone so that is good with me but now there are only 2 Dr's and their work load seems Heavy....I felt Rushed....Very rushed.....Also the air quality is Stifling!!!! I don't care for the smell of the office at all..I have been a patient for over 9yrs but won't be going back...

Wow! What a great experience from the 1st consultation to the last follow up appointment for my son. Dr. Ghoghawala and his team are absolute professionals. Appointments were made around my schedule, our visits were reasonably quick and everyone is super helpful and friendly. Overall, this was a great experience and I would highly recommend South Texas Eye Consultants to anyone looking to improve their vision dramatically. Thank you to Dr. Ghoghawala and his staff for such amazing care!

On June 16, 2016 I had an appointment with Dr. Thomas Dietze. I made the appointment because I was experiencing terrible discomfort in my left eye. He dismissed my severe pain, stating that I just needed new contacts and instructed me to see an optometrist. This prognosis was hasty, as I needed medical attention immediately. Within a week of our visit, my cornea ruptured and I am now blind in my left eye. I was in emergency surgery to save my eye and luckily the doctors were able to save it. However, I am blind now in my left eye. I went to see him after that to ask if there is any hope of receiving a corneal eye transplant. His comments were hurtful and negative as he said " putting a new cornea in your eye is like putting new tires on an old beat up junk car." I was extremely hurt an dozen dead by t his commentary, and have not gone back since. I want to warn people about not only his negligence, but his unacceptable bedside manner.

Doc. Ghoghawala is the best. He took extra time out of his schedule to explain to me my best treatment options for my problem. His treatment worked very well. Eye problems are always very scary, so I am more than happy about not having to worry about it any more .

I went online to make an appointment online it doesnt ask for you eye insurance it ask for your health insurance which is weird so when they called they ask what kind off insurance i have for health i told them in which I am double covered i told them which was primarily and which one was secondary inwhich ahe aaid that they would have to call and get approval from the secondary insurance before they schedule me she never ask for my vision insurance inwhich again i am double covered and are different from from my health insurance i have never been to a vision place who wants your health insurance and not your vision inwhich i wasnt going for surgery just want to know why my eyes are red all the time do i have allergies or just dry eyes that makes me think something that right its like going to a doctor for a cold or a broken arm and they want you vision insurance first and not thw health insurance its just makes no sense i will not be telling any one about this place at all. Needless to say i will never know id the doctor are great or not.
