The eye exam went great, staff is super nice, just wish they had a bit better communication with customers. Went to get a new pair on a afternoon on a Saturday and when all was done and payment was made, I wasn't told till just before closing that I wouldn't get my glasses till the next Tuesday 10 day away. Which is unfortunate because I don't have working glasses ATM, but I can make it work. But when I went back on that Tuesday, *10 days later*, they then tell me that it may not come in till the very next week. Wish I new all this before I paid $168. I must say again tho, everything else other than this went great, no problems. It's just the lack of info on the glasses part that was the problem. Most of the staff there are great, chill people. Just please tell people this may happen before they make the decision/purchase.

Told me 2 pairs of glasses and free eye exam and same day glasses. They waited until after the exam to tell me I owed $300 or pay $160 for the exam. I waited 2 hours pasted my appointment to be seen and the 2 pairs I picked out was there cheapest pairs of glasses. They a bunch of scammers DO NOT GO THERE. Especially if you are on disability like I am.

Absolutely awful experience. Did the initial testing & was asked if I wanted to see the doctor or do a telehealth. I was told the doctor was on lunch at my appointment time (why schedule appointments while the doctor isn't there) & it would be quicker to do the telehealth. Was also told the telehealth was $39 for exam & the doctor was $59 for exam. I asked about the promotion of $79 for 2 pairs plus free eye exam & they said that the exam fee would be applied as a credit when I bought my glasses. Waited over 3 hours for my "results to come through" from the telehealth. Then had to ask to see the actual doctor. After 4 hours I was told I just need very low reading glasses. Went to pay & asked if it would be cheaper to just buy reading glasses at Walmart & was told the exam alone was $170, but don't worry they gave me a discount & the exam was $115.... I asked about the $79 deal & told them I was told the telehealth exam was $39 & the sales lady told me that "the people on the other side don't really know what the fees are". Paid the $115 & contacted corporate. Was also told they couldn't take my Medicaid because I didn't have my physical card & they probably don't take my husband's insurance because of where he works..... None of it made sense & I wasted a whole day to be told I just need reading glasses.

Negative five stars! This place is an absolute joke! I went in six days ago and I asked for a human doctor they told me one wasn't on site. So I then seen a virtual doctor I asked several questions and asked if it's normal for everything around the letters to be bleary he told me YES! Well they didn't have any trial pair so I left and ordered myself some on 1800 contacts. I get them in and can't see but two feet infront of my face! I went back today seen a real doctor and he fixed the proscription. Doctor was a 10/10. Everyone else needs to be fired and replaced with competent people. People who don't watch TikTok's or talk about going out with your friends. This is a important business people need their eyes to see not have to go back because they can't do their jobs in the first place I'm never going back again I'd rather go to Walmart and do my check ups there. I know it's long for someone reading this but read it and heed my warning that not just me but my mom and my wife have had problems with these incompetent people

I had an outstanding experience with Ray and Kristy while at Stanton! They were incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Iset an appointment, got there 15 minutes before, didn't get seen for an hour and a half. ended up being stuck there for 3 hours total. all for them to mess up my prescription and I had to come back the next day to get it fixed with an in person doctor, which sucks cause I live 40 minutes away. was also stuck there for 2 hours this time. when they made the new prescription they put in the wrong brand of contacts which apparently you have to be prescribed contacts by brand now. I realized the next day when I went to buy new some. I called to get the brand switched and the dude was absolutely no help. he told me someone else would have to call back to help me. I asked how long that would take and he said by the end of day, which is already ridiculous. then the day went buy, then week, then month and at no point did I ever get a call. never again did I want to deal with this company, I wasn't even going to leave a review but today, not even two months later, they started calling my phone over and over with some indian guy saying my prescription is expired and I need to set up an appointment to come get updated.. horrible company

I will start off with saying I will not be coming back to this place never again. I requested a day off to go specifically to get my eyes checked "properly" and get a prescription for my glasses and I got horrible services. Their customer service and call center suck very bad, the call center DOES NOT communicate with the office at all. Call center made us an appointment, they tell us that we will be seen a doctor but we saw a virtual doctor, my prescription was off by a significant amount, I get to found out I have astigmatism on right eye but they did not mention that to me? Reasons why I wanted a DOCTOR TO SEE MY EYES NOT A COMPUTER. My mother in law prescription was worse than mine. She got dizziness for a day and unbalanced issues due to the prescription. I went back, took my glasses they had to sent them back and fix them, and I still have not received them. My mother in law had an appointment today to SEE A DOCTOR TO FIX HER PRESCRIPTION, but we went in and they tell us they booked us an appointment for a problem but not to do a re-check on her eyes. So now we are scheduled AGAIN for the 3rd time to go back and check her prescription with the doctor. PLUS pay $30 dollars for extra testing. It's ridiculous how bad the communication and service from the staff there.

I had an amazing experience at Statin Optical, and I especially want to recognize Rayanna for her outstanding performance. From the moment I walked in, she was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. She took the time to answer all my questions, made sure I felt comfortable, and went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth and stress-free. Her customer service was truly exceptional, and it's clear she genuinely cares about her patients. Because of Rayanna, I will absolutely be coming back and recommending Statin Optical to others!
