This is not the office it used to be.
When Bird's Eye View was started by Dr. Bird, I was a loyal customer. Since the practice was sold, it has shifted to a patient-quantity-first model rather than patient care.
Today, while on my way to an appointment, traffic unexpectedly worsened. I called the office multiple times to notify them but no one answered the phone. At six minutes past my appointment time, I received a call asking whether I was coming. I explained that I was about two miles away and my GPS showed I would arrive in six minutes.
I was told I would need to reschedule because the doctor only allows a five-minute grace period. This is especially frustrating given that patients who arrive on time are often kept waiting far longer than five minutes themselves.
There are plenty of optometry offices that value communication and respect patients' time. Unfortunately, this one no longer does.

Dr Correos and Dr Le are both very kind and professional. I have been going for several years. Also I got progressive eye glasses this time and Shama did a wonderful job fitting and helping me select glasses. The lenses are higher quality with larger zones for reading, intermediate and distance than some places. I am very pleased with my prescription and glasses.

The doctor was excellent with my 8 year old son. What wonderful empathy and great care and good explanation for the next steps! I especially admire Carla (Karla?) in the front desk. She was amazing with details and showed great patience with me and my child. I highly recommend this doctor office. Wonderful staff. They're quality people.

I'm just deeply disappointed of the incident this afternoon. We have two appointments 3:00 and 3:15, arrived 3:05 to the front office and the 1st appointment was canceled by the staff arguing they have a full schedule and cannot let me in. However the person for the 2nd appointment was immediately attended 10 minutes ahead of time. It seemed they have some availability.
I just wanted to comment about the intransigence of these show on time rules. There was a festival outside and driving through and finding parking took some time to be able to arrive on time.
We've been using this provider for more than 12 years.
