Texas Eye Institute

I was referred to the Texas Eye Institute for a thorough testing after a regular eye exam somewhere else. This office is easily found, it's a nice building with plenty of parking spaces. They are located on the 1st floor. I was treated and didn't have to wait that long. My testing was done by Dr. Hopping. He was very polite, took his time to explain the test and the results. All of the nurses very also polite and welcoming. The office itself has plenty of sitting in the waiting room. Once they call you in, inside there is a secondary waiting room, they have a TV where they play very informative videos about the different eye conditions, I think that was nice. I would suggest a coffee machine for patients while they wait, that would be great. I was very pleased with the visit, I would absolutely recommend them.

We live in Beaumont and there are no pediatric ophthalmologists, so we drove all the way here. Staff made it very easy to schedule an appointment on short notice due to emergency infection. Doctor was very good with kids and made the experience very easy for all of us. They were very thorough, addressed all our concerns and questions, and explained everything to us very simply. Highly recommend. I will be using them in the future.

Very good experience here. Friendly staff and Dr. Hipps has such a gracious way with his patients, he is patient, knowledgeable, and kind. I have been to a number of ophthalmologists in the last years and some have been neutral, others somewhat impatient and brusque. Will continue coming here!

Extremely helpful staff, they all treat me like family. I needed assistance filling out some of the forms, and the staff took extra time to assist me. Doctors are awesome, they explain everything and answer all my questions. Sr. Hipps performed cataract surgery on my eyes last year. I'm very pleased with how everything turned out.

Terrible operation. They seem like amateurs. It certainly isn't an appropriate location for kids. The "doctor" seemed to be uncomfortable dealing with children. They also made us wait nearly an hour after checking in. I'd avoid this place and find a more serious professional operation.

Everyone was nice and efficient. The one thing I am critical about was having to fill out all of my husband's and my paperwork. It's way too much and requires one to have to look up telephone numbers and addresses for primary physician and pharmacy, meds, etc. These forms need to be online so they can be submitted before the appointment Additionally there is no surface to write on and hold a phone for data recovery from one's phone

As a new patient, I have no regrets with my first appointment. I was pleased.

After seeing numerous doctors for my son's condition, Dr. Bulan was finally able to answer our questions and put us both at ease. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is extremely personable and caring. So glad we found him!
