I had a great experience at this eye doctor's office. The space is beautiful and modern, with a large selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses, including some really nice designer options. The staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and patient throughout my visit, which made the whole experience very comfortable.
Dr. Amit Shah was knowledgeable, personable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I never felt rushed. Overall, a wonderful experience--I would definitely recommend this office to my friends and family.
Alma provided truly amazing service from start to finish. Her work was fast, efficient, and beyond impressive. Most importantly, she was incredibly patient and kind with my elderly mother, who needed glasses that were very difficult to find.
Alma showed outstanding manners and professionalism every step of the way. She went above and beyond dealing with my mother's insurance, which was also challenging to work with--but Alma didn't give up. She successfully got the glasses approved and even managed to secure an additional pair of readers at no cost through the insurance. Those extra steps truly make a difference.
What really stood out was her initiative. She found benefits and options we didn't even know were available to us. As soon as the glasses arrived, she contacted us right away and got my mother in to have them adjusted and properly fitted, making sure they were comfortable and just right.
Because of Alma's care, patience, and understanding of my mother's elderly needs, I will continue bringing her to Vision Source Katy Ranch. Thank you so much, Alma, for being so wonderful and for genuinely caring about your patients. We truly appreciate you!
Alma is absolutely amazing! She's incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly takes the time to make sure everything is just right. She explained my prescription clearly, helped me choose frames that fit perfectly, and made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. You can tell she really cares about her work and her patients. I couldn't be happier with my glasses.
Started with 5star. Dr Shah was outstanding. Went above and beyond to care for my eye needs.
Unfortunately, office mgmt destroyed it. Issue 1)
I called in after visit to confirm trial contacts work, please send over the prescription. Took 3 calls over 10 days to get them to print. I finally decided to drive over and grab it since any promise of will send it over was a myth. Issue 2) turns out I have leftover credit with them because of insurance return, ok.. I ordered another set of contacts, asked for a copy of my receipt. Another 3 calls 7 days. Same drill, promised to send but nothing happens. Asked me to sign up for portal and get it there which I did but portal doesn't have anything. Finally, I drove in to pick it up.
Lesson is to see the doc, walk away with doc you need and don't buy anything here cause the office manager can't seem to run her operations right.
My son loves Dr. Lo :) She is very professional, and she answered all my questions without rushing me or being dismissive. She's so good with kids and explains everything so well. We also loved Alma :) She helped my son choose the perfect pair of green glasses he had been wanting. She was both attentive and helpful, and she made my son feel very comfortable. Front desk ladies were welcoming and friendly, all of them helped me out with filling out forms and payment in a very nice manner.
Ok, so Dr.Shah side, no problems when I got tested, great service. On the other hand, glasses side, total disaster. Picked up my regular pair 7 days later, no problem, asked about my sunglasses, the girl looked befuddled, like she had no idea. I asked jokingly, did yall order them? She said they haven't shown up(not what i asked, and never checked), so I let it go. She said she would call the lab and let me know. Five days later with no word, I called up there and told the the girl I picked up my regular pair and checking on my sunglasses, she put me on hold for quite some time. Came back and said the lab couldn't do what they asked, and were going to upgrade me to digital, but never let me know..... So turns out they never ordered them, never called lab and let me know. She said since the holiday was coming it might be a little longer, so now we're going into 3/4 weeks. She also said my regular pair was there to pick up, even though i just told her i picked them up, she never made sure....smdh. So the holiday passes, i get a call that the lab broke the frames and they are going to put a rush on the sunglasses. So I finally get a call almost a month after ordering and paying just under a grand for two pair of glasses that my sunglasses are there, I get there and ask what they did to the sunglasses, they listed all the things I paid for, no digital, no upgrade. I asked about it, she looked confused, and I said, never mind, I just want it to be over. I'd like to come back, but the incompetence and lying was just too much. I will be finding another place to do business.
Disappointed. I had my eye exam done elsewhere and brought my prescription here to have glasses made. From the beginning, I had difficulty seeing with the intermediate portion of my progressive lenses. I was repeatedly told--both by the other provider who performed my eye exam elsewhere and by the optical staff here--to "give it time."
Despite multiple adjustments and changes, the lenses never worked properly. I have now been told that I've reached the maximum number of remakes and am left with glasses I still struggle to see with. Throughout this process, I was reassured multiple times that the lenses would be corrected and that I would be able to see clearly.
All I want is to be able to see clearly with the two pairs of glasses I paid for, and unfortunately that has not happened. I was even willing to have an eye exam performed by your optometrist and pay for it here to eliminate any uncertainty regarding the prescription. I scheduled that appointment with the understanding that your team would also check with the lens vendor about correcting the lenses.
Instead, I was never contacted and ended up calling 40 minutes before my scheduled exam, only to be told that I would need to pay again for new lenses. I am now being advised to check my insurance benefits to see if new lenses can be covered--essentially paying my portion again for glasses that were never made where I could see correctly with them!
We had an exceptional experience at this eye doctor's office last year. The staff and doctor were incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. During my son's exam, they noticed severe optic nerve swelling, which explained some of the symptoms he had been experiencing. Thanks to their careful attention, they were the reason he was diagnosed with his brain tumor. The office was proactive and compassionate, calling and following up until we were able to get an MRI the very next day, and they continued to check in twice afterward to see how he was doing. We are so grateful for their care and dedication. It's time for their annual exam, and even though the moved locations we fleill follow wherever they go. My kids feel so safe and comfortable with them, I highly recommend!
