Alpine Vision Center in Lehi, Utah

Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. They had a wide selection of stylish frames. They navigated my insurance with ease. From beginning to end it was a pleasant experience. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The office is nice, but I did not have a good experience there. They were running significantly behind and I was about to ask to be reschedule when I was finally taken back. Once the tech was done with the pre-work she took me to the exam room to wait for the doctor and said sorry the wait it going to be a while since we are behind. Had I known this upfront, I would have rescheduled instead of being taken back. I mentioned at that time that if it was going to be much longer I needed to reschedule. They then got a doctor into me quickly, but it was SUPER quick and rushed, to the point I'm not sure I even trust the prescription I got and may go elsewhere and pay for a second exam. I would have preferred to reschedule rather than not get the exam that was paid for. I will not be returning to this practice.

It was a very pleasant and thorough visit. I didn't wait at all and the tech that did the pre-exam testing had a very calming demeanor, which was nice. The eye doctor was also a watch nerd like me, so we chatted about watches while also answering my questions about my vision. The optometrist set me up with two glasses pretty quickly and I was on my way.

The staff was nice but I left very frustrated after unexpected charges and by what seems like a misleading practice. I'd scheduled a basic eye exam that my insurance covers. However, they charged a $29 copay (I don't have a copay). Afterwards they explained they actually don't offer a basic exam and you unavoidably have to pay for a retinal image that's not covered by insurance. This is not a copay (as they claimed) but rather an additional charge. This seems intentionally misleading. Then when viewing options for glasses and lenses, they didn't seem to offer any that fit within my insurance coverage and their "basic" lenses had more fees not covered by insurance. All of this would have been good to know upfront. They said they disclose the $29 charge at scheduling (they did not) and it's part of the fine print of registration but I would suggest they should be more clear about not offering a basic eye exam and all these extra charges. I took my prescription and used Warby Parker to get glasses which was fantastic - no hidden fees, tons of options and excellent service. Wish I would have used them for the exam too.

Switched to Alpine Vision Center from another eye doc in Lehi and the experience has been so much better. Everyone is really nice and really good at performing their roles at the office. Appreciate the service here!

I had my first visit to Alpine Vision today as a new patient. Dr Reese was awesome! He was very personable. He showed me my retinal scan and explained everything really well. The staff was also very efficient and professional. I will be back every year for my annual exam!

I have been coming here for around 5 years, it is very hit or miss with this place on how your experience is going to be. A couple of years ago I was told I had macular degeneration and it scared the crap out of me. I went and got a second opinion and found it didn't after all. This year the DR did great in my opinion but my glasses didn't fit right and they had no idea what to adjust or how to. The woman helping with getting the frames and glasses is always in a bad mood and takes it out on all customers that are unlucky to need her help with anything. I am truly thinking of going to another optometrist cause I dont think I want to deal with this place anymore.

Dr. Weaver and his staff are excellent at helping patients get the care they need, and guiding them towards good eye health. I have confidence in his ability and thorough approach to eye care.
