Waite Vision

I traveled across the country to get my surgery done with Dr Waite. I got my Lasik done in January and it turned out better than i imagined. Dr Waite and his team were exceptional! i was a bit nervous about getting lasik but everyone at the practice was so friendly and supportive putting up with all my questions throughout the process. The consultation is very thorough from screening your eyes, determining prescription, and even 3D mapping the eye. The technology was really cool and they were about to talk about what would be changed in my eye and my overall eye health. Day of the surgery they walked me through the steps, again easing my nerves, i was pretty anxious but they were very understanding. The surgery was fast and they really nailed post op care, everything they said would happen went like clockwork. Did my next day and 1 month follow up and couldn't be happier.

Had my one year follow-up after the ICL surgery. Wasn't a candidate for LASIK, met with Dr. Rawlins and Dr. Waite for all the check-up before the getting the ICL procedure. Both doctors are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, felt like they had my best interest and wanted the best result for me. A year after, each eye is still 20/15 vision. Life has gotten better, I enjoyed being more active; simply walking, running, jumping, and everyday functions without being hinder by prescription glasses. It has been an easy adjustment after recovery period and have been seeing everything so clearly, sometime forgot to appreciate how life-changing this has been. I'm grateful for the procedure, Dr. Waite and Dr. Rawlins, and the friendly staff.

But after looking into progressive glasses, the dreaded bifocals, and the disappointment of a life of just taking my glasses on and off forever as needed to read, I took the advice of a friend and looked into Waite Vision. Best decision ever. First off, their website is fantastically informative and honest. Then, the staff and in office experience. Everyone is helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. They all go to great lengths to make you feel comfortable. They tell you your options and manage your expectations in a way to ensure success and satisfaction. Then during the procedure, Dr Waite was vocal at every step, guiding along what was happening, what to expect, all in a gentle manner. My anxiety remained during the process but it was fantastically reduced thanks to Dr. Waite and his staff. A blessing each one. I'm thrilled with the results and the aftercare too. If you're looking into various forms of surgical eye correction, Waite Vision should be your first and last choice.

I have waited over 20 years for this day. I consulted with just about every office in Utah over the years for options to correct my vision. Never feeling 100% like I was a good candidate, and not loving the options I was presented with before. Then, my wife had a situation that required an ophthalmologist. Dr Waite's care for her and her well being impressed me so much. He was warm, funny, firm with his recommendations and very clear with his educational explanations. We felt safe and confident. From there, I myself decided to give it one more try and was examined. I am thrilled with the outcome! Excited to dump my contacts and glasses away! The place is emasculate and the staff is all kind, energetic and happy. They covered everything we needed including follow up prescriptions for drops, etc.

I'm one week post-op from my LASIK surgery with Waite Vision, and could not be more pleased! The staff was so helpful and attentive, they are very clear about scheduling, pricing, instructions, aftercare, and so available when I had questions! I would HIGHLY recommend their services. They brought me to better than "20/20" vision, and the results are incredible.

Life-changing. I have had to wear glasses or contacts for 25 years with a high prescription and to be able to open my eyes in the morning and see clearly is truly life-changing. And it is so nice to not have to worry about glasses or contacts when traveling and doing high adventures! Dr. Waite performed my ICL procedure and the entire experience from the consultation to the final post-op visit was absolutely incredible. His staff is kind, efficient, and extremely helpful. Dr. Waite is friendly, has a wonderful bedside manner, explains things very well, and takes the time to answer my questions. He was very thorough with scans and tests to make sure that I received the best prescription possible. My procedure went so smoothly and they helped me to feel calm and comfortable the entire time. The recovery was simple and my vision is better than it has ever been! And small side note, their office is absolutely beautiful. Dr. Waite came highly recommended and I will absolutely echo that recommendation!

This week my wife and I both celebrate the 1 year anniversary of our cataract and lens replacement surgeries and will be going to see Dr.Waite for our final review/visit. We cannot overemphasize with how thrilled we both are with the results of our surgeries! My wife had problems with cataracts and her surgery by Dr. Waite has given her a whole new lease on life. She can see amazingly well and is extremely happy with her results. She says that she now sees things such as colors and details that she hadn't noticed in many years! After my wife's surgery and with how well she could see, she felt sorry for me. I'm a 72 year old man that has worn glasses or contacts since I was in the 5th grade...so a very long time. At her insistence of me maybe being able to see as well as she now did, she suggested that I have lens replacement surgery so that I could give up the glasses and contacts once and for all. It didn't take me long to realize that I would REALLY like to be able to do without the glasses and contacts and have Dr. Waite help me with that condition. Dr. Waite did such an amazing job on my wife, that I had and still have complete confidence in his abilities and personality. Within 2 weeks of my wife's surgery, I scheduled lens replacement surgery for myself. This last year has been AMAZING! I can now, for the first time since I was a young boy, get up in the morning and SEE! It was so strange at first. When I would get out of bed, I was always used to reaching for my glasses. Now, all of a sudden, I could actually see without those devices! It has been an amazing transformation for me as well!! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Waite! He was and is worth the 120 mile drive that we make from Smithfield, UT to Lehi, UT. My local optometrist gave me an excellent recommendation when he sent me to Lehi to see Dr. Waite! He said, yes there are doctors here in Cache Valley that can do that kind of surgery, but if you want to go to a eye surgeon that other eye surgeons go to for their eye surgeries, Dr. Waite is the one you want to see. One thing I might recommend: If you go to Dr. Waite for surgery on your eyes, be sure to follow his protocol for recovery. After my eye surgery, I figured I'd use the eye drops that you can buy in the larger bottles without looking at the ingredients. The eye drops I bought were not preservative-free, and that delayed my healing process. Had I used the eye drops that Dr. Waite told me to use, the preservative free kind, my recovery would have been much quicker. That's just some FYI from someone that has gone through the process already. My wife and I are extremely happy that we chose Waite Vision for our vision needs. We can both see up close and at a distance with no problems whatsoever. If you're considering eye surgery, Dr. Waite is the man you want to see!!

About a year ago I went to Waite vision to look at clear lens replacement surgery. About 13 years ago I had lasik which unfortunately doesn't last forever and you can only to once per eye. I was tired of reading glasses and contacts. After the consultation I decided to go for it. Fast forward 1 year and my vision is perfect both reading and distance. I don't even think about anymore. So grateful for the care and professionalism from the entire staff at Waite Vision. I would recommend them to anyone.
