Dr. Howard was extremely thorough and patient in explaining to me (again) the surgery which is done to correct floaters. He, also, willingly answered questions my husband asked. He alleviated the majority of my fears. The surgery for my first eye is scheduled in a month. I would definitely recommend Dr. Howard for any procedure.
Gage is the young girl who took my medical and medication history, checked my eyes and put the dilation drops in. She was amazingly kind and compassionate when I discussed some of my recent medical challenges. I hope she is always the one to check me in!
Natalie was the person at the front desk who initially met and checked me in. She was extremely friendly and efficient. Natalie was kind enough to help me (a diabetic for over 42 years) when I was in a crisis at the clinic of having a low blood sugar. She shared her personal M&M's with me and expected nothing in return. This was going above and beyond the requirements of her job. It was evident from my interactions with and my observations of Natalie that good patient care is a priority.
I would definitely recommend this clinic. I had a great experience, as always.

If you have macular degeneration or any other retinal issues, Retina Associates of Utah is the place to go.
They have been my clinic for years (Murray and Lehi locations). I won't trust anyone else with my eyes.
They are thorough every visit with a full exam and imaging. They worked with my insurance and pharmaceutical companies to get the treatment I needed when other treatments didn't work. The doctors listen and answer all questions, and do a great job of explaining and being transparent by reviewing imaging with you and letting you be involved in the treatment plan.
When they built the Lehi office(close to me) it was great. What sets this clinic apart from the big Murray office is, that it has that smaller practice feel where the staff all know you by name when you walk and remember past conversations you had. The office is brand new and beautiful too. No matter what location you go to, you will get the best care, but the Lehi is great. You don't have to travel to Murray to see the top-notch retinal specialist.
