I recently had cataract surgery on both of my eyes with Dr. Alex Manguikian, M.D., Ph.D., and I couldn't be more grateful for the care I received. The entire office staff is wonderful -kind, welcoming, and always helpful at every visit. Dr. Manguikian took the time to explain each step of the process, both before, during and after the surgeries, which made me feel reassured and well cared for. Both procedures went smoothly, and my vision has improved so much. I truly appreciate the skill, patience, and compassion shown by Dr, Manguikian and his team, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of cataract care.

I had the pleasure to find this doctor after I visited another practice that resemble a car dealership. I felt discussed on how they were focused on upselling more products. I had to walk out. And check the list of providers on my insurance. And I came across Dr Alex Manguikian who surprised me in a good way, that there's still good doctors that want the best for the patients without solely focusing on profit. He explained everything to me. Showed me my options , and walked me through the entire procedure during my first visit. I had cataracts on both eyes. I did both eyes. The first eye went very smooth, which made the second eye like walk in the park. The follow up visits were fantastic. Now I just did my last visit. And man am I glad I listen to my gut feelings. I truly want to thank him. He did an amazing job. And the best part is i felt so comfortable from the first visit. Once again thank you Dr Manguikian. Very, very satisfied patient.

It is hard to write a review that encapsulates the incredible work of Dr. Alex Manguikian. His expertise and deep knowledge, combined with his empathy and honest care for patient well-being, makes him one of those incredible doctors who are true healers. I began my history with the practice over 30 years ago when I saw his father, Dr. Dertad Manguikian for Lasik and routine eye care. Now Dr. Alex Manguikian has performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. There is absolutely no other ophthalmologist that I would ever entrust with the care of my eyes. I have told my husband that if we ever move from the area I am flying back to this practice and Dr. Alex!

This has been a pleasant experience for a somewhat nervous patient who tends to be anxious in medical situations. Dr. Manguikian and his staff are low key and reassuring, as well as competent and organized. The office environment was calm and well run. I was very happy that the staff number is small. There was no chaos or rushing about. Dr. Manguikian explained the medical procedure, cataract surgery, thoroughly and answered numerous questions. The physical office itself is very nice with comfortable chairs and pleasant background music. All in all, my experience deserves a thumbs up review. I have no problems recommending Dr. Manguikian.

Dr Alex and his staff have been great to work with. After a routine eye exam that showed cataracts in both eyes I was recommended to FEA. Dr Alex examined my eyes and confirmed that cataract surgery would be the best solution for my issues. He gave me options without any pressure to select the solution that I wanted, given the out-of-pocket cost I would incur. The instructions that I was given for the surgery and follow up appointments were excellent.I also appreciate the small things that his office does, such as using paper files, wearing a suit and tie in the office, and the appointment reminder calls. I would highly recommend Dr Alex and the FEA team for your ophthalmologist needs.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Manguikian for years and have never failed to be impressed by his kindness, caring, and amazing technical knowledge. I have retinal issues, and Dr. Manguikian is especially attentive to the needs I have in that area. I recently had cataract surgery in both eyes with him, and his thoroughness in preparing me for the surgery, doing the surgery itself, and following up twice for each eye was above and beyond. In addition, Dr Manguikian is assisted by nurse Julie who has always been extremely attentive to my needs, and very patient in answering my many questions. At the front desk, Arlene has always gone out of her way to be helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Manguikian and his practice to anyone looking for a compassionate, highly skilled professional to deal with their eye care needs.

Last summer, a neighbor referred me to Dr. Manguikian, who treated me with the utmost professional care and service. I went for new glasses only to discover I had cataracts and would need surgery. Without hesitation, I worked with his staff to schedule both procedures. I returned for a second office visit prior to surgery where he thoroughly reviewed my procedures (with pictures) and set me up for prescriptions drops I would need. On surgery day, the pre-op nurses were most attentive and noted how much they appreciate working with Dr. Manguikian. On my second surgery, the patient waiting next to me stated to the nurse how comfortable she felt due to Dr. Manguikian's bedside manner. The nurse replied "Dr. Manguikian should hold classes for other physicians as he has an excellent bedside manner." I too encountered that same bedside manner and service and if you are over 45 and looking for a state-of-the-art, knowledgeable and skilled ophthalmologist/surgeon, you will be equally impressed with the talent and skill of Dr. Manguikian. He is first rate.
