I took my elderly mother to Dr Phan. She was professional, thorough and very patient. She answered many questions and provided many options. There was a border line need to get glasses but she did not pressure us to buy any, and she even offered to complete a DMV letter to state glasses weren't needed. I plan to schedule my own appointment here the next time.

Very happy with the dr here. She seemed very knowledgeable and had my best interest at heart and did NOT have me buying stuff she didn't think I needed... saved me a small fortune! So happy to have found her! Was super helpful too, and even participated in my hunt for 'the perfect pair of frames'. Was very pleasant experience, and I will absolutely be going back if i need more eye care.

Changed my glasses prescription for no reason at all. I just went for a yearly eye exam and had no complaints with my prescription either. Then I wanted to switch to contacts, gave me the wrong prescription, I legit couldn't see at the end of the day because my eyes were exhausted. My friend told me there was a big discrepancy between my glasses and contacts prescription. When I told the doctor about it, they gave me a higher prescription. What? Not coming here again. Already wasted my insurance's yearly coverage here. At least they were kind, hence the two stars.

Dr. Phan is an excellent Doctor! She's very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all your questions. Her exam is very thorough and she makes you very comfortable knowing your in good care. Outstanding patient skills. I would recommend Dr. Phan to anyone looking for a new Doctor at an affordable price.

I had been having problem with my vision for years, particularly having double vision at distances. I visited three different doctors but did not get good reasons or opinions about what could be causing the problem. Mostly I was told that it was because of the how I was wearing my glasses, too high or two low. I visited Dr. Phan in April, 2016, which was my first visit. She immediately found out what my problem was. I have Vertical Diplopia, a condition which causes the eyes to see two images, one above the other. She was concerned that I had suffered a concussion and recommended that I visit a neuro-ophthamlogist if the condition persisted. She also recommended that I should have prisms added to my prescription. She gave me a prescription with the prism and recommended that the prism be split between the lenses so that one eye would not appear to be bigger than the other. I picked up my new glasses the other day and the change was dramatic. For the first time in years I did not have double vision, especially at night. I would normally see two images on traffic lights, one above the other and things were a tad blurry. My wife drove me around Fairfax City last night and it was great to be able to see everything in focus, up near and at distances. I highly recommend Dr. Phan. She is a credit to her profession. D. I have been a patient of Dr. Phan for over 10 years. She is an excellent eye doctor who has in-depth knowledge and provides quality care.

A+++++. WE have been going here since Dr. P left sears...we don't mind the drive from centreville because we know how thorough she is. Sand is just as great and always on the ball and very curtious.

The entire staff treated my mother, who has dementia and stability issues, with tender care as they would their very own parent during her appointment.
