Eye & Vision Care of Fairfax

I have been a patient of Dr Sylvia for many years. She is simply the best. She is an expert and offers wonderful suggestions. I am the kind of patient that isn't always sure which is better, A or B, 1 or 2, and she has always been so friendly and patient. I very strongly recommend her practice at Eye and Vision Care Fairfax.

I have been a patient of this location along with my two children. The doctor is nice; however, when my son lost his eyeglasses over the weekend and we urgently needed his prescription, we were told it could not be provided. This is an emergency situation because my son must return to school on Monday without glasses, and he cannot function properly without them. I do not understand why another doctor in the office cannot sign off on the prescription. I began calling at 9 AM and followed up four times throughout the day to check on the status, but no progress was made, and now the office is closing. This experience has been extremely disappointing. You will be losing three patients, as I will definitely be looking for another location. This eye doctor clearly does not prioritize their patients' needs. I spoke with Jordan customer service did not even proactively gave me status of my request

Dr Sylvia Briceno's paitent care is the best quality I've seen in years. She made my Wife feel welcome and confident in her knowledge of optometry. I can say with confidence any new paitent here will have a hard time finding better service anywhere else.

I just moved to the area and needed a new eye doctor. I am glad I picked this office! The office staff are super welcoming and nice, also very helpful with questions and concerns. I saw Dr. Briceno and loved her. She takes time to answer your questions and listens to any concerns you may have. They also have a great selection of glasses! Will definitely be coming back.

Eye & Vision was a very pleasant experience for me and my dad. Both professional and courteous, from the staff to Dr., we were taken care of and will recommend them to our friends and family. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the Dr was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional! A+

I had WORST EVER experience at Eye and Vision care. I was told by Mitesh to get normal lenses as opposed to Progressive ones which I am used to for years. When the glasses came they were so messed up and I was told to just take Tylenol to get used to the bad vision it was giving. And usually I make second pair. Even those were so messed up (lenses were not properly cut) and after so-called fixing, I kept saying I don't see clear and all they said was it's your new number so it's taking time to adjust. I knew it was not the number, I kept saying it was the lack of clarity in the vision. Not the adjustment to the new number since I've been using glasses for years. For this, I had to pay $50 for each lens ($100 total in extra) to get it fixed when it was their mistake in the first place! I also was told to get my eye sight checked again, for which I had to pay the examination fee again. Finally when I asked for prescription and got it checked elsewhere, I came to know that axis on the glasses was so off (by around 100!). During this time I had to keep going back and forth to Eye and Vision care for a period of almost 6 months! Also during this time, Maha and Melissa were not cooperative at all, saying "Manager says nothing can be done, today opthalmologist is not there." Because of my work I could only go there on Saturdays, which is every two weeks for them. Finally, when I told to get it fixed, one day after enquiring if the glasses were ready for pick up, they just told me to come pick them up and that they were ready. When I reached there, they told me that the glasses were not ready, and when I asked why was I told they were ready for pickup? Melissa just said, 'It was not me.' Finally, 10 days after this incident, I got my glasses fixed. And I still have a pair of glasses which I can't wear because of its non-Progressive lenses. Overall, it was worst experience ever and I don't recommend anybody to come here. They should be giving me refund for the non-Progressive lens glasses because I made those at the behest of the opthalmologist, and it messed up my vision. And the vision exam which they told me to take again should have been free.

The staff is awesome. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Dr. Briceno is a very detailed optometrist. Eye and vision care optical has a large selection of frames and they mail contacts to your home. Highly recommend
