I rarely write reviews, but this one is necessary. My family and I have been MyEyeDr patients for years with no issues, but my experience at the Fairfax, VA location was extremely disappointing. I ordered prescription glasses in November and never received them. When I called in December, I was told the office had pulled the wrong insurance, it was rejected, and no one notified me. They claimed they had corrected it and would process the order. After weeks with no updates, I called again in January, only to be told my order had still not been processed again due to "incorrect insurance" and no one notified me. Because of this, I lost my 2025 vision benefits, as the issue wasn't resolved until 2026. I had to call multiple times just to check my order status, and when I spoke with the manager, he was unhelpful and dismissive. I later confirmed with another MyEyeDr location that my current insurance was on file, which shows poor communication and a lack of accountability at this office. This Fairfax, VA location lacks professionalism, provides poor customer service, and is completely unreliable. They made repeated mistakes and showed no effort to correct them. I will not return and do not recommend the Fairfax MyEyeDr location.

Miles made our experience at MyEyeDr beyond amazing. He is super pleasant and easy to talk to, and he was super helpful! He also throughly explained everything we needed to know about getting our frames and lenses through insurance. He cleared up any questions we had, and we appreciated all the recommendations he gave us.

I had a really good visit here. The doctor was through and addressed all my questions. Miles is it though! If you have a chance to visit with him to choose frames and lens he is legit. No nonsense and really cares what you look like. I'll visit this location again for future needs! Thank you!

I visited my eye doctor today and every one were nice, Dr zaer was very straightforward and precise with me and gave me the choices . I was clear what insurance will or won't cover. I saw a lot of negative reviews but I definitely had a good experience and expect to get my glass in about 10 days.

I was told I could walk in for glasses--no appointment needed. I showed up on Monday, July 28th, and there was a long line with only one staff member. Turns out the glasses specialist wasn't there, and no one could help--no doctor either. The lone employee was kind and doing his best, but he was left in an impossible situation. Poor management, frustrated customers, and lost business. I ended up going elsewhere as well as the couple behind me. (saw them at the other eye store as well)

Great customer service. Devon Burns took time to help me find frames that worked best with my prescription and face, and went through my order details thoroughly to go over insurance coverage. Super helpful and friendly. Thank you!

I recently visited the office feeling unsure about the glasses I had previously chosen--they were too big and too heavy, and I had a serious case of buyer's remorse. Thankfully, Liam was there to help! He was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and he made the whole experience so much better. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped me pick out a new pair that's both lightweight and stylish. Liam mentioned he had transferred from the Mosaic location, and I'm so glad he's now at the ffx corner location. His positive attitude and genuine care made a big difference. He's absolutely awesome, and I highly recommend asking for him if you're in need of eyewear advice!

Amazing customer service! They always take care of me and my family. Alexis has been really nice and helped greatly. They will take time and run your insurance and tell you exactly for what you qualify for and not. I really appreciate that about them.
