Today I had the most amazing first time experience at a doctors office. I was at Chancellor Eyecare. I was not properly prepared for a first time appointment. Though I didn't have my proper credentials, the front desk went to amazing efforts to let me proceed with my appointment. Megan and the front staff were extremely helpful. As was the technician who helped me today.
Dr. Rose and Amy, and all of the staff were courteous, professional, efficient, and very personable. Dr. Rose and Amy were so compassionate.
I highly recommend Chancellor Eyecare for your eye care needs.

I've had problems with my vision for forty years, so I've seen a lot eye doctors. But I have never seen one like doctor Sonia J Rose. She is extremely thorough, very personable and friendly. Dr Rose told my husband and I things about our eyes that's never been explained to us before. If you want the best, and most people do, you need to make an appointment with Dr Sonia Rose. Also, her assistant and the ladies at the front desk are awesome.

The care is beyond any eye dr that I have ever been too and it's been multiple. The issue always after 2 years there is you will always wait at least 30 minutes after your appointed time...today was over 60 minutes. Our time is just as important as theirs.

Dr. Rose was minutes shy of an hour late, when I walk out of the exam room she's with another patient saying I'm just getting ready to see you. I responded that's ok I'm leaving. To which either Dr. Rose or her patient said 'weird'. I told Amy I would not be back. I originally had a noon appt, which was moved to 330 to accommodate Dr. Roses schedule. I work in Mechanicsville, left work early to be there on time. The blatant disregard on her part for my time is just bad business. I was patient there for many years, Perhaps the owner of practice should think about hiring an associate that can better manage their time.
