My experience has been great so far. I'm only a 2 yr. customer but received quality care.Very good selection of frames and ordering glasses is easy. The associates are friendly, respestful and very knowledgeable in there field. The doctor that I see is awesome. She is very experienced, knows my requirements as a diabetic. Takes care of all that's related.
I couldn't be more impressed with this optometrist's office. From the moment I walked in, the entire team made the experience smooth, professional, and genuinely pleasant. The technicians are exceptionally well-trained--efficient, thorough, and kind--taking the time to explain each test clearly and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process.
The optometrist was outstanding: knowledgeable, attentive, and never rushed. I felt listened to, and my questions were answered thoughtfully and in plain language. It's clear this practice values both clinical excellence and patient care.
The optical shop deserves special praise as well. The selection of frames is excellent, with options for every style, and the staff provided honest, practical guidance without any pressure.
This office runs like a well-oiled machine--organized, punctual, and friendly--while still feeling personal and welcoming. If you're looking for an optometry practice that combines top-tier eye care, skilled technicians, and a great glasses-buying experience, this is the place. Highly recommended.
My 2nd visit here. Spend $350 laat year on new glasses while my husband spent $600. They are pushing selling technics on you. The assistant automatically take you for $39 dollars exam no matter if needed or not. Not even ask you if you ok to pay $39 dollars. Then after exam my eyes didn't need new glasses per doctor as it was only small change. The person was trying to push glasses on me anyway just to spend my money. She start having attitude when I said no to all her option. At the end she said we book time for you to get glasses so if you decided to have anyway this year you need to book another appointment. I will take mine, my husband and my sons appointment somewhere else. We all were parltient last 2 years. That was not medical experience. It was like try to sell me time share experience. All about selling you glasse that doctor said you dont need.
My first visit to Clarkson Eyecare as my insurance required a provider that would accept.
The ease of scheduling to checking in with the receptionist and being taken to a room to complete preliminary testing with Sierra was prompt, friendly and professional.
Dr. Nadeem Al-Ghandour was thorough and explained her findings in an unrushed manner. The Dr. provided consultations for a further evaluation of cataract diagnosis and possible surgery. What most impressed me was the Dr. could have written a script for new lenses but explained if surgery was required prescription could change and necessitate a new prescription. Thank you for being a professional with integrity. Will definitely recommend if asked.
Disappointed.
I've been a patient at Clarkson (formerly known as May, Hetler, and Finney) on-and-off since 2004. I always thought Drs. May and Hetler were great an worth whatever extra cost may have come after insurance to see them. The practice seems quality. This year my family went for our annual eye exams and although the staff and doctor were all very nice it just wasn't the same.
My and my son's eye exams were interrupted three times for scheduling questions. 3 times! What should've been a 30 minute visit was hours. Then when my husband and I sit down to review our contact and glasses benefits we are offered the most expensive option. I ask for all options and they're shared but my husband doesn't and assumes that what he is told is the only option. It just felt knickel-and-dimed. I feel like they were just trying to get as much from us as they could. And we spent a lot. Then to top it off, I just received a bill for another several hundred dollars because it looks like they entered our insurance wrong and didn't actually bill our insurance. Again, if I didn't ask or catch this, they'd get a lot more money.
To me that's just not how a medical provider should operate. Overall, I'm disappointed by our experience. I'll be looking for a new eye doctor.
Dr. Parrish and staff are very professional and thorough in their care and procedures. I appreciate the feedback provided in both health and equipment (glasses) selection. Definitely would highly refer anyone in need of an eye exam to Clarkson Eyecare!
Had a great experience with my appointment. The optometrist was great and professional. Now, when I sat down with the sales team to go over benefits and options for contacts/glasses, the individual i worked with was very aggressive with trying to buy with them. It made me feel uncomfortable and obligated to purchase contacts through Clarkson. I decide not to purchase any product because of the way I was treated. Besides that, great experience.
Yearly eye exam here for the past 5 years. The staff are attentive. They always run about an hour late. The exam is through and you can add 30 minutes if you get dilation. I take my prescription to Costco as I get the same frames, scratch coating, and transition lenses. They accept my Spectra vision insurance.
