Wife and I got eye exams and new glasses at this place because they took our insurance, and I'm glad we did! They had great customer service and walked us through everything. The doctor was empathic and patient, especially dealing with our toddler. I would recommend this place and will be going here in the future.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience l had. I had to have my eyes examined twice because the first prescription was incorrect-and unfortunately, the second one was also wrong. I ultimately had to revert to last year's prescription from Virginia Eye Institute, which is still accurate.
My computer glasses had to be remade because the prescription was off by 0.75, which is a significant error.
My progressive glasses were defective and had to be remade. When they were remade, the prescription was again incorrect, requiring them to be redone a third time.
I made six separate trips to the store, spending roughly four hours inside and approximately 12 hours driving back and forth. That's a significant amount of my time and energy spent correcting mistakes that were not mine.
Given this level of inconvenience and frustration, I requested a $65 upgrade as a gesture of goodwill. I was told this could not be accommodated. Frankly, I find that unacceptable given everything l had to deal with.
I would never go there again and do not recommend them to anyone!

Wade Fiegl is pleasant and competent, and takes time to talk during the eye exam. In the optical side of the business the owner, Mitra Madison has priced items on the high side of prevailing prices. I asked to use my own frames, which VSP had told me prior that an in network optician must allow without fee and Mitra Madison insists on charging a $75 fee. Also, I feel like Mitra Madison essentially "nickels and dimes" patients by charging a 3% fee for use of credit card over debit card. I have never visited any kind of medical practice and been charged a credit card fee, it felt unprofessional. 2.5 stars overall due to Mitra Madison, and her very high unprofessional pricing. I drove across the street to Clarksville Eyecare for my glasses, no fee for using my own frame (in fact the optician said VSP does not allow fees), and no additional charge for paying by credit card. If you like the practice's optometrists, shop around around for glasses, you can get much better pricing for lens and frames at other opticians minutes away.

Very satisfied with this practice. Have been a client for several years. Exams are thorough, prescriptions are accurate, eyewear selection is impressive, and staff is always professional, patient, and polite. I still miss Dr. Adam Madison but Dr. Fiegl is great, too. Worked with Jose to choose 3 pairs of glasses and then to fit. He was fabulous - so friendly and helpful! I highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Fiegl since high school, so it has been over 5 years now. The doctor is nice. Location is perfect, and it has always been easy to make an appointment at this location. Most staffs were nice to me this time except the lady who helped me checked out. She was not happy I did not purchase my glasses or contact lenses at the store, so I was getting some attitude from her.

I took my son here for a regular eye exam. The receptionist was extremely rude and disrespectful despite asking her more than once what will be our co-pay and ask for explanation of since it was a new insurance. She refused to provide us ,and now we got a bill which is the charging us $249 just for an eye exam simple exam never go again because you have more than this options if you need.

We came on to pick eye glasses and the receptionist was lovely, friendly and professional. Thank you for hiring her. Wish I had her name. However, the person who helped us with the glasses selection named Brenda, was another story. Sadly, we noticed she had an attitude when she came to assist us, was condescending and talked down to us when explaining as if we didn't understand the options. Because of our insurance, Brenda told us these are our options, which we knew would be limited. She also told us the size of the glasses on the shelf was the only size available and we have never heard that especially since I have worn glasses since I was 7 years old. Brenda rolled her eyes, sucked her teeth like we were a bother. Situations in life can change peoples economic status especially since the pandemic. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and professionalism despite what insurance they have. Unfortunately, Brenda did not represent My Eye Doctors office well
