Not only is Dr Dao an amazing surgeon but she is incredibly diligent and approachable. Her down to earth demeanor made me feel comfortable that I could ask every question I had for her. I lucked out in finding Dr Dao

She wasn't even my doctor but I had the pleasure of watching a day in her life, definitely one of the greater surgeons in the whole northern VA, wouldn't trust anyone other than her when it comes to eye issues that need fixing.

I have to say I was extremely impressed with Dr. Dao. For special needs parents, she was able to reach my daughter and elicit compliance with skill that I've only seen with her therapists, or family members she knows well. THAT was impressive. She also was able to finally give us a diagnosis after three other attempts with ophthalmologists that were more focused on the billing side of the business. If one technique wasn't working, she had other ways to find the info, not being totally reliant on the high tech equipment. She's good. Highly recommended.

I meet Dr.Dao today. I'm speechless of how amazing she's ! I went there with my 2 year old and I was honestly so scare to find out about her diagnosis and Dr. Dao didn't make me wait to tell me results she was quick , professional and definitely amazing with toddlers. If you have to drive like me 2 hours to see her. YESSS due it SHES THE BEST!

For three decades after moving to Fairfax from NJ we have enjoyed the services of a most highly-recommended ophthalmologist who decided a year or more ago to retire. As existing patients of the excellent doctor, our business and patient records went to Eye Consultants and yesterday I had my first scheduled appointment. There are so many new (tech) machines and the office operates very smoothly. Staff members with whom I had contact were super friendly and helpful. I had met Dr. Ailani because my spouse is also a patient of his and during her year has had two cataract surgeries, one eye and then the next; and she is very happy with those. I recommend this outfit most highly.

I researched for days trying to find the best doc for my daughter. I somehow came up on Dr. Dao and decided to try it despite her being 2 hours from my home. SO happy I did. She has been wonderful.

We still visit Dr. Dao after moving an hour away. My daughter and son been seeing her since they were toddlers. They are 9 and 11 now. She's amazing. I wouldn't trade her for any other eye Doc!

Dr. Dao has treated my boys over the last few years. We have never had to wait long. She explains things well, and she has a great rapport with my children.
