Visionworks Doctors of Optometry Springfield Town Center

Every time I come here, it's always been a good experience. When I came in for my appointment for 11:20 last Saturday, Lillian assisted with me right away so there was basically no wait time at the front desk. We went through a series of eye exams which were done expediently, patiently and efficiently. The same could be said about Dr. Homa Niazi who was very expedient with her set of exams as well and was also both very pleasant, personable, easy to talk to and deal with, is patient, friendly and explained everything in detail. I've felt, at times, like I was talking to a long lost friend I haven't talked to in awhile. In fact, she seemed to be the best eye doctor (who has shown more concern, empathy and more positive vibes) I've so far encountered in my experience with eye doctors and there were many great ones too before. She additionally, went out of her way to have more retinal scans done to thoroughly take a closer look at the peripheral of both eyes. Both Rosie and Dr. Homa were really helpful in taking extra scans, and wanted to ensure nothing was missed in those initial ones. Dr. Homa managed to fix, above all things, my prescription which was very off from my previous one from another optometry place from last year. At that other place, I've also had a bad experience there where the staff weren't as upfront about prices and facts, regarding transition and progressive lenses for prescription glasses and, also in fact, gave me false and misleading information about them. The only upside was the friendly eye doctor. When I had questions about things after the appointment last year, the staff members were very slow to respond. It was different at this Springfield location, as other staff members were able to provide other helpful information and were likewise, engaging. Needless to say, I will try to come back in the future to this Visionworks location for my next eye appointment. It's hard because I, unfortunately, moved out of the area, completely, due to high costs of living, a few years ago (regretful experience). The area I am in now, does not have the high quality of service, and friendly atmosphere as in the Fairfax/Springfield area. If you decide to come to this Springfield mall location for Visionworks, you will not be disappointed as this has nothing but friendly, helpful staff to help out and assist, along with a varied selection of both contacts and glasses.

Excellent service from start to finish. Thank you. We will ABSOLUTELY be regular patients. Every time we go to the visionworks in Springfield mall, we are ALWAYS treated extremely well. Everyone is so nice. They treat you with such kindness from the front office to the doctor. We drive over an hour to come to this specific location and will continue to do so. The customer service at this location has been very impressive. I may still awaiting my glasses but thus far I would revisit and recommend this location. Update... I went to pick up my glasses and experienced the same excellent customer service. I was quite impressed that I purchased additional Eyewear. One of my previously ordered frames had a little damage and thus needed to be replaced. The Rep was quick to process the replacement. Thank you team.

I had a great experience working with Rosie. She took her time working with my son on his glasses selection and with contact lens as well. I would recommend this vision works and this employee, her professionalism was great.

My appointment with the doctor at Visionworks went well, and the staff was kind and professional. Unfortunately, the experience fell apart when I ordered contacts through the front desk using my insurance. I placed my order on March 15, 2025 and went back and forth with the store until April 7, 2025. During that time, I never received a confirmation email and was given different excuses each time I called. On April 7, I finally spoke with the GM, Kat, who told me my Acuvue contacts were on backorder because my prescription was too strong, which honestly did not make sense. I ended up requesting a refund and ordered the exact same contacts from Warby Parker, where they were in stock and delivered in three days. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of transparency and inconsistent explanations were frustrating.

I think her name was Rosanne... but I know she is from Guam! She was absolutely amazing and was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding her job. She provided information regarding my insurance coverage and explained and answered all my questions I had with purchasing my vision needs.

Best eye exam i have ever experienced. Im 46 and the optometrist by far exceeded my normal expectations. She explained everything thoroughly and I left able to see far and clear!!

Love this eye doctor, the location, the ease of making an appointment and getting right in to see the doctor. Have had nothing but great experiences time and time again. Would 100% recommend.
