5 Stars!
I had a wonderful experience at Eye Town Vision Center. I went in for an eye exam and to get new glasses, and everything exceeded my expectations. The doctor was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly. His staff were just as impressive--friendly, efficient, and genuinely caring. I felt comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish.
Highly recommend! The team went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth and stress-free. I'm very happy with the service I received!
STAY AWAY STAY STAY AWAY!!
UPDATE- Owner nice trying gas lighting your customer into pretending we didn't visit your practice. Let me go ahead and attach photos. DO BETTER TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY. Oh I am going to make sure I rely my review everywhere now.
This is by far the worst eye care location I've ever been to. I came in 10 days ago to get my prescription and since then I have had to call EVERY single day just to try to get it. Every time I call, I'm told, "We'll send it today."
They never send it.
If you're buying overpriced glasses directly from them, you'll magically get your prescription right away. But if you just want your prescription to take elsewhere, good luck. They make it nearly impossible and force you to hunt them down repeatedly just to receive something you are legally entitled to.
This feels intentional and incredibly unprofessional. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic respect for patients is unbelievable. I should not have to beg, chase, and call daily for over a week just to receive my own prescription.
Avoid this Springfield location unless you enjoy wasting your time and being ignored.
Oh and the employees? They do not care one bit about you. They just love to chit chat and not do there jobs apparently

I loved this office! Dr.Surmaty is very nice and a good Doctor, The front desk young lady Katy is very helpful as soon as I got out of the exam room she approached me to help me choose my frames and nice I definitely would come back here!
Great visit! I had been struggling with eye strain for years, and Dr. Surmaty immediately pinpointed the issue. He took the time to explain clearly, and the front desk team was professional. My new glasses are good quality!
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this establishment. The staff was unprofessional, and the service was inefficient. We waited 45 minutes for a prescription that was ultimately not provided, despite being told it would be emailed the next day. When we returned to pick it up in person, we were informed it would take another hour, even though we had been assured the previous day that it was already being handled.
The lack of communication and accountability was frustrating, and the demeanor of the staff, particularly Lisa, was unwelcoming and dismissive. Instead of addressing the issue promptly, we were met with excuses and delays, ultimately waiting over five hours for something that should have been a priority.
Additionally, I found their questioning regarding power of attorney inappropriate, homophobic, and unprofessional. No customer should feel discriminated against or disrespected while seeking medical care. I sincerely hope management takes steps to improve their professionalism, efficiency, and customer service to ensure that others do not have a similar experience.
Would not recommend this establishment unless significant improvements are made.
I edited this to clarify a few things per their response.

I've been putting off writing this review for so long, but it's almost time for my next appointment and I just remembered to write it.
My visit gave me mixed feelings about this establishment. The girls at the front desk were absolutely LOVELY. I had such an amazing talk with them, and they were willing to help in any way I needed. I can't say the same for Dr Levin. She was just plain rude. No other way to put it. Disrespectful and talking down to the other employees with condescending attitude. She also walked into the room giving me attitude. I was waiting FOR HER in the exam room, texting my mom and checking emails. AS SOON as she walked in, she said "This is an eye exam, put your phone away". What I do while waiting is none of her business! If it weren't for the receptionist girls, I wouldn't be coming back. Get rid of her!
They gave me back my vision after 4 months of not being able to see thank you so much I can drive again and go places without being assisted thank you for giving me me my life back and being kind to people with autism
Probably never coming back. I like the young lady at the front desk. She is very very sweet but there is a hard time understanding her which is important when it comes to healthcare.. I have been here twice. First time I had to wait 30 min past my appointment time. But I liked my doctor. He was thorough & did a good job explaining things. (I don't remember his name.). The second time I came I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time. And there seemed to be no rush getting me in. No one even stopped by to explain what was taking so long or how long more I was expected to wait. The doctor I got this time actually barely did anything. I came for a contacts exam and explained I used to wear them many years ago. I guess that was enough for her because she led me to the hall, gave me a pair of contacts, told me to try them on, and then she left...I have NEVER had a doctor just leave. No instructions on how to put them on, how to clean them etc. She wasn't even watching! I feel like I shouldn't have even be charged for that.
