Everyone was super nice from when I walked in to walking out. The eye doctor and assistants were super nice and made the appointment easy and comfortable. This is for the Rochambeau location.
Nikole was amazing! She helped me at the end with picking my glasses and going over insurance, pricing, warranties, and all the details. She took her time, explained everything clearly, and genuinely looked out for me. She helped me save a good amount of money and made sure I got the best deal without ever making me feel pressured. Thank you soo much Nikole!! Also shoutout to Mary (I think that was her name) who helped towards the end, she was very sweet and made sure everything rang up correctly and all discounts were applied. I can't wait to get my new glasses!!
I made an appointment agreeing to use a virtual MD in order to get in earlier than Target was able to arrange for the same day. Around an hour after arriving, and after already choosing frames I went back to the waiting room and noticed many others there as well. This was now more than 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I enquired how much longer it would be and was initially told it was just hard to say. I had to enquire further and was told the appointment currently about to be treated was one scheduled 30 minutes before mine with others still scheduled between us. I was offered the opportunity to reschedule for the next day- when I was already scheduled back at work- or waiting an indeterminate amount of time. The clinician stated this wait was "no longer than usual" for virtual visits. I was NEVER informed when calling to schedule that expecting a 1-2 hour wait past appointment time would be typical for this type of visit, even though it was clear the staff was aware of this being the norm. I made it clear when scheduling that I was willing to use virtual as the appointment was time sensitive. I was never told on arrival or during the hour I was there waiting patiently that there would be a delay. I am not upset that they were delayed. I am upset that they would knowingly leave me wandering around without communicating this to me or other patrons who expected to be seen within a reasonable time from the appointment they set up. I left and was able to walk right into the Target optometrist, had no wait, a wonderful in person team, and will never waste time at this location again. Also, while I was at America's Best, someone else came in to state that their transitional lenses did not transition and needed fixing, not a great testimonial to their end results.
Stopped by this location after talking to Jake (Very Professional) from the Hampton store (5710) about retrieving the doctors notes from my last exam. He told me I could pickup the notes from the nearest store from my home. I was greeted by Kalie, also very professional and without hesitation she assisted me in retrieving my notes. Great job from a great organization
Horrible!!! I came in and spent 250 on new glasses that were progressive lens. After 10 days I finally received my glasses they told me to try them for a week and if they don't work right to come back and I can get a recheck and get them fixed... Well, they weren't right so I came back... They tried to adjust the nose piece, which not sure how that would fix the prescription, but it didn't so they scheduled me to come back for a re check by the doctor... Well, this was a week later and when I came back, the lady said instead of a re check, they would adjust the progressive portion of it, and if that didn't work, them a re check....Well, it took another week to get my glasses back and when I did , they told me to try them for a few days even tho the prescription wasn't right still... So I did as they said, and a few days later called to let them know it's still not right.... They scheduled an appointment, then the day of appointment told me the doctor wouldn't honor a re check because it had been more than 30 days!!! However, if I would have seen the doctor the first time I was supposed to, I was within 30 days... I explained this to lady on phone, and all she said was, "That's the doctors rules but I can reschedule you for a whole new appointment"... But in the midst of all this, I switched jobs and no longer have insurance, so I can't afford an out of Pocket expense like that, especially after just paying 250 for glasses I can't even use!!! I will never use this place again. I feel like they strung me along past 30 days on purpose to not fix my prescription that I kept saying is not right... Very unprofessional... Now I have to wait for new insurance with new job, and see another eye doctor again, and spent another 200 something for glasses... Thank you America's Best for getting over on me!!!
The dr was great. Got the old bait and switch when they changed their prices between the time I booked my appointment and the time I came in for the appt 10 days later. They refused to honor the $89.95 price it was when I booked and didn't tell me the cost changed until it came time to pay. Called customer service and waited 20 minutes to speak with a call center overseas that was not helpful at all. Very disappointing experience. Won't go back.
Long wait time, no staff returning eye wear was a mess manager made me wait more than 1 hour before being able to return

2017-09-28 purchased eyeglasses from here within the last week, came back to pick them up today, was offered liquid cleaner for $5 and free refills. This is truly America's Best!

Ash literally saved the day by fixing my broken frames while I am 3000 miles away on vacation. Also was handling multiple customers and phone calls by herself like a boss. Pay this person more, seriously.
