The office manager is terrible. The doctor is excellent in his eye exam, and the office staff is nice, so all went well until my glasses were one week late, so I had to call to learn that the frame was in backorder. That was when the customer service went down the drain. A call two days later didn't help. So, three days later, in another call, the manager kept repeating "when something is in backorder, we never know", and she refused to understand my explanation of why this is simply unacceptable. Fortunately, my glasses arrived four days later. So, when picking them up, I thought I could be more effective in person to make her understand, but to no avail, she was quite aggressive arguing with me. She is intelligent, but either she has no empathy or she is lazy, so hopefully the doctor could be successful in explaining her that "when something is in backorder, you never know" until she does her job, which is to call their supplier and get the date when the frame will be manufactured and available. I had already paid for the glasses, so I had the absolute right to know if I would have to wait for two weeks or for six months. Besides, she told me that they didn't have time to call every customer. Total poor performance.
I had to ask for a contact lens appt at a later date because the something was wrong with the room they used for contacts, so when I came back for my appointment I had towait 50 minutes to see the doctor. He gave me 5 samples and because of the times to come back for recheck I had to come back in 2 weeks later. I was told to save one of the contacts for my return appointment. I couldn't beli e only got a total of 5 days worth one which was in my eyeball before leaving. Each and every time I have appointment but I still have to wait nearly one hour to see the doctor. He gives me another 5 to try really 4 because one was in my eyeball before leaving. I can't believe the small supply of samples. Well I came back and I said I believe this will work. He writes my prescription for another strength not the trial. I had no idea. My husband picked them up. I opened the box. Then I realize something is wrong. I look at the trials and they are different. So I call, I leave message finally they call back and tell me since I opened the box they are mine. No returns, then she goes on to tell me that the doctor didn't have the ones he wanted me to try in stock so he let me try another one? I was like am I going crazy he did not mention this. So when I came back he wrote a different prescription. I will absolutely never go back to this place. I do not recommend this place at all. I have been to amazing eye doctors before that explained things and gave adequate samples and information. I paid 100 dollars for each box of contact lenses. Don't be fooled like I was. I never even thought to ask how many samples can I have beforehand. That right there should of been sufficient to make a better decision for me. Hard lesson learned.
Making their patients wait 6+ weeks for a pair of glasses is ridiculous. Worst customer service ever! They get an attitude when you call to check the status of your frames when it's been over 30 days already. Now they tell me I have to wait ANOTHER 14 days. Would not recommend at all.
Dr. Siddhapura and her staff were very friendly and professional. They made me comfortable and was patient whileI choose my frames. It is a well equipped clinic. Thank you for excellent care
I have taken kids to the Langley location for the past 7 years. It started out great, but now it's horrible. Customer service is non existent and the receptionist will tell you that you are wrong and argue with you. They never have a trial pair of contacts for my son, and when they ordered them they did not call to let us know they were in. My husband went up there to ask if they were in, and the receptionist told he couldn't give him the contacts because he had to check with doc to make sure they were the right prescription, but she did not check with the doc therefore we did not get my sons trial contacts. Instead they just threw them away. Will not be going back.
Only very good things to say. I have always had difficulty in getting the eye exam exactly right until it was performed by Dr Jellenek for the first time about five years ago. He got it exactly right and the prescription lenses I ordered from them gave me a sharpness and clarity I had not had with my progressives before. Krystal was patient and extremely helpful in helping me choose frames. The glasses were exactly as the prescription required (not my experience elsewhere). I have had a number of exams and lens orders since then and my experience has always been as good as the first time. I recommended Jellenek to everyone.
I had a great experience at Jellenek Family Eye Care. The staff is always so friendly and professional, and the doctor took the time to answer all my questions. The eye exam was thorough, and I felt well taken care of. I highly recommend this office for anyone looking for quality eye care.
I wouldn't go here at all, they did nothing but waste my time, I paid almost 200 for glasses a month later and they won't call me back not to mention they told me two weeks, called my insurance and filed a formal complaint against this location, awful management she never calls back I have left my name and number 18 times!!!! And no call back, I'm a high risk pregnancy and I need my glasses to drive and I'm driving with the wrong prescription! I've called and called and called with the same response the manager is never there even on said days they claim she is but yet what is she doing? Never at work never calls customers back but she has a job? No this Place is a scam will take your money report to your insurance something completely different than what they told you in the office. BEWARE!! And go anywhere but here. And for Future reference they DO NOT DO REFUNDS EVEN IF YOU DONT RECEIVE A PRODUCT
