Sharene and Neshay helped me receive my new glasses and how fun was that! They are so nice, I love them! Sharene can't see, but she has great energy and fun customer service! Neshay was super helpful in adjusting my older glasses and also provided service with a smile (and, she can see!). I have been coming to MyEye Doctor in Williamsburg for years and my experience has always been positive..... just like these 2 ladies. Great job Williamsburg My Eye Doctor crew!

Received a text stating that my glasses were ready to be picked up. Went to pick up my glasses and all that was there was the lens!!! No frame. 99.9% of the time people like to have a frame with their lens. The lab should have known that something is wrong and not send in lenses to the store without a frame. The frame was with the prescription which cost me $249. Not very happy with the service and how someone did not check before sending a text and waste my time and drive to pick up lenses without a frame. It would have been nice for whom ever is in charge to double check the orders before sending text. I was very excited to receive my new glasses after waiting over 1 week, but it looks like now I will have to wait another week or maybe more. I am disappointed that someone dropped the ball. Not a happy customer!!! Expecting some kind of credit for my troubles please. Thank you for your time regarding this matter.

I had to wait 3 months for my glasses to come in. At first I could understand the issue between them and the lab. I was told it was in issue with the lab and my insurance. I called my insurance and they told me there wasn't a problem on their end. Then my eye dr told me it was a problem with the lab making the lenses. They said they should be here "next week" I waited on a call, nothing. I happened to be in the area a couple weeks later. I stopped in to ask, a man helped me. I was told my glasses hadn't come in yet. After a month I called and the lady who answered the phone told me they had been here a while. I went back to check my voice mail, nothing and no call was logged on my phone since they told me there was an issue nearly two months prior. The service you get here is subpar at best from the front end. I feel like they act like you are taking up their time, an inconvenience to them. I hated going here.

The first exam was incorrect. The doctor didn't listen to me about everything during the exam. There was nothing that wasn't blurry and I wear 3.75 readers. The gave me 1.75. When the glasses came in. I couldn't read 1 word in my progressive lenses. They told me I would get used to it. I tried to give it 3 weeks but my job requires a lot of reading and computer work so I couldn't use them. Even at home you need to be able to read. I went back for a second exam and reiterated that everything was still blurry and and my readers are 3.75. He gave me an adjustment that was still too weak. Once again I went back. I was blamed by the lady up front because she assumed I didn't tell the doctor about my issues with the glasses, which i had done many times. She sounded irritated, like she didn't believe me. She also told me when the second pair of glasses came in that I just needed to get used to them. It was a little better but still to blurry for my eyes to deal with and there was a lot of eye strain. I repeated that and she begrudgingly put my number down for somebody to contact me because they only do I extra exam. They never got back to me. Now I have to go back in to get a response. I used all of my exams with insurance so now I have to wait until I go someplace else that would possibly take into account the information I give them. It is very frustrating having 2 pairs of prescriptions that are useless to me and I still have to use my readers. I can't see far away now and I occasionally call clients the wrong names because I can't see them well enough. I will never use them again. What a waste of money and use of my exam. I was so excited to be able to see up close and far away. It's been very disappointing.

Had called in early January and made an appointment for the end of January showed up for appointment and they had record that I had called in and spoken to someone I also had record of it and showing a five and a half minute phone call of giving insurance information making sure they could handle the exam when we showed up for the appointment They absolutely didn't have it on the books anywhere but they sure showed we called then they attempted to get us in for the following day at the same exact time when that was not possible we were actually able to go to a competitor America's Best down the street over by the Walmart highly recommend got in same day no problems and made one phone call and was on the phone for less than 5 and 1/2 minutes I do not recommend this location I would not send anyone here ever

The office is very clean, organized, and has lots of frames to choose from. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My exam was quick, easy, and painless. My frames came in qucikly with no issues. They fit very comfortable while being stylish and affordable!

I took my son in for and eye exam and that part was fine. Looked at frames and none where covered by insurance get that not all are. The 5ech told us he could get new lenses in his old frames and that was covered so that is what we did. I picked out a pair of frames and had my order done while I was there under insurance paid for my prescription and we left. Wednesday they call me and now say my son cant use his old frames but have to buy new ones but was told different on Monday. Today Friday I was called and said I could not get new frames and had to pay for them even though I have not gotten any glasses this year. Two different people two different situations and apparently know one that works there knows anything about there job. Highly disappointed by there lack of knowledge about any of this as they put this information in the computer and pull up what is coveted and not but days later they tell you something entirely different. MY EYE DOCTOR needs to train there staff properly so other customers do not have to go through the same thing as my family.

I walked in at the myeyeDr.located at 4655-201 Monticello Ave, Williamsburg, VA 23188 today. My eye glass lenses had been broken out of the frame. I thought I would have to drop it off and wait a week for it to be repaired. Nope, Ms.Ne'shay, said they do not do drop off but actually do repairs on the spot! Well in about 10 minutes she had me on my way out the door with my glasses fixed and NO CHARGE! THANK YOU! Oh, and the all of office staff are professional and very polite!
