I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Staff is very rude and unprofessional. They have absolutely no idea how to bill insurances correctly even when you show them how to fix it - they refuse because they don't care if you're left with a bill. We will never go back again. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS OR IT WILL COST YOU!

I have no idea where the negative reviews are coming from. The staff were amazing. Ashley and Dr. Dobbins couldn't have been nicer or more thorough. They took their time with us and explained everything well. Gladly answered any questions we had. So glad we chose to come here. Look forward to our next visit with their friendly professional staff.

Called the billing department in regards to a question for a bill I had received. They were not helpful and rude.

Honestly, the front staff aren't very nice and claim they don't send text reminders for appointments. I showed them proof of a 9am appointment on my calendar AND a text I received about the appointment. They said my appointment was at 8:45 and refused to see me. Optometrist's are great but the front desk staff, not so great.

Lindsey at the front desk was very rude, both on the phone and in person. Very inappropriate attitude but was "shocked" when I called her out on it. She sent me to the other lady beside her who was just as inconsiderate. Bottom line, very rude and it is clear they only want one type of patient.

The very worse! I made an appointment with this business in February for a problem I was experiencing in my left eye, blurred vision. Upon arrival the attendant gave me an eye exam, which I explained to her I did not want, but she insisted stating that they had to do it in order to determine what was wrong with my eye. I had just had an exam 1 year earlier by an Optometrist and explained this to her. She still insisted to give the exam. Then I was seen by an Ophthalmologist and he checked for glaucoma and cataracts. I left with a prescription for new glasses feeling my problem was not addressed, (which I had filled at Costco and when I received the glasses I couldn't even see out of the left lens). After a week I phoned and explained that I still had an issue with my left eye. I was scheduled another appointment and a different Ophthalmologist (Mark) did the exam. I told him that his partner did not address my issue I was experiencing with blurred vision in my left eye. He stated there was a misunderstanding or communication breakdown. Trust me, it was not on my part. I know how to explain myself quite well. Anyway, I got an invoice for $30 for an exam I DID NOT WANT OR ASK FOR, and Medicare was charged TWICE for an exam that should have only been charged once because the first Ophthalmologist did not do his job properly or even address the issue that I made the appointment for in the first place. I plan on writing the medical board and Medicare and filing a complaint against this firm for their mishandling of my problem and charging twice for something that should have been handled more professionally and never should have been charged for the 2nd time. I will not return to this business nor do I recommend going here. * As a foot note, I scheduled an appointment in Winchester VA with the Optometrist at Costco who told me I had the beginning of a cataract forming. This practice is the worst and I still do not recommend wasting your time with this Opthalmologist.

Dr. Promersberger has been a big help to me for many years, and his staff is great. Karen bent over backwards to assist me in getting my eye medication at a huge discount, and she is so communicative and kind.

Dr Promersburger did my cataract surgery and did a great job. Gave a thorough eye exam and was very personable and sat and explained everything involved in the surgery.
